Lin Yu Tong stared into Zhan Yi Fei’s eyes and almost confirmed that Zhan Yi Fei definitely wanted to know his reason. Everyone has a sense of curiosity, and he, Zhan Yi Fei was no exception, especially when the matter was related to him, it’s impossible for Zhan Yi Fei to not want to know.

However, Zhan Yi Fei after thinking about it for a while asked Lin Yu Tong, “If I know the reason, will it affect the relationship between us?”

He felt that Lin Yu Tong could have clearly said it earlier, but there must be some reasons why he had kept it till now. This reason could be any kind, but if it affected the feelings between them, then he didn’t want to hear it at all.

Lin Yu Tong was slightly startled, sat up, and said solemnly, “It might.”

And this was one of the reasons why he had not said anything. Although the matter of his rebirth itself was bizarre, it wasn’t something that couldn’t be said, anyway, it wasn’t a big problem whether Zhan Yi Fei believed it or not. But letting Zhan Yi Fei know his past with Shen Jun, was something taboo that should be avoided for him, because that would break Zhan Yi Fei’s impression of him in his heart. Imagine a couple, one of whom thought that the one he liked was just like himself, the way he enters a relationship was single tracked, but the fact was not the case, and it was actually a very depressing and embarrassing thing. To put it bluntly, this confession may leave some bad memories in each of their hearts.

Zhan Yi Fei opened a can of beer – something they bought on the way, and after taking a sip, he said, “Wait until I finish eating.”

Lin Yu Tong was noncommittal and drank along with him. He had already decided when he went out today, as long as Zhan Yi Fei was willing to listen, he would tell the truth no matter what. It’s not that he didn’t worry Zhan Yi Fei would have a knot in his heart, but he just didn’t want to hide it anymore. When the “incident with Zhao De Hua” happened, Zhan Yi Fei said that honesty between husband and wife was a road that needed to be walked for a long time, so he should be honest right back.

Zhan Yi Fei drank three cans of beer, while Lin Yu Tong only drank half a can. After Zhan Yi Fei finished drinking, he directly laid on Lin Yu Tong’s lap, “Go ahead, even if you say something wrong, I promise not to be angry.”

Lin Yu Tong looked at Zhan Yi Fei’s eyes, and drank the remaining half can in one breath, then seeing that there were no people around, he said, “I have lived a lifetime longer than others, and the backdrop of my previous life is the same as now, it’s just that I died at the age of twenty-eight years. I know that although you haven’t deliberately asked about it, you must have wondered why I agreed to register with you as soon as you proposed for us to be together. At that time, you also knew that I had no feelings for you, after all, let’s not talk about us being acquainted, but we were practically strangers.”

Zhan Yi Fei subconsciously squeezed Lin Yu Tong’s hands, “But that’s not the case anymore, right?”

Lin Yu Tong fiddled with Zhan Yi Fei’s hair, “Yes, it’s not anymore. But one thing you have found about me is correct, I did have feelings for Shen Jun before the tenth month of last year, but after that it just disappeared, because I experienced… something particularly incredible. Didn’t I say that I died at the age of twenty-eight, I thought that was the end, but I didn’t expect that I would open my eyes again and return back to when I was still twenty years old. I woke up eight years in the past, that’s why there were many things that have changed about me.”
