2. Enemies

In the Hallway (after the most boring orientation in my entire life)
8:15 AM

Luna: "Orientation was boring."

Quinn: "I know, right?"

As Quinn and Luna are chatting, they arrive at their class. They meet the other members of the class and also Grayson. Grayson approaches them with his best friends.

Grayson: "Guess we're in the same class," he says with a smirk, his eyes glinting mischievously.

Luna: "Guess we are, Grayson," she replies with a sarcastic tone, rolling her eyes.

There is silence for a moment until Quinn disrupts it.

Quinn: "So... umm... aren't you going to introduce us?" she asks, her voice tinged with impatience.

Grayson: "Yeah, sure. So this is Timothy."

Timothy has white hair, diamond-blue eyes, a cold and stern voice, but he looks cute when he finds something interesting.

Timothy: "That's my seat," he says, glaring at Luna with hatred.

Luna: "There was a saying by a wise lady, 'a shoe is a shoe,' and that means your chair is my chair, amigo. So get used to it," she says with a pitch of disgust in her voice, her eyes narrowing.

Timothy: "I don't care, and who was the wise woman?" His anger starts to show, his fists clenching.

Luna: "The wise lady was Kim Yujin."

Grayson: "Guess we can't argue with that," he says, trying to diffuse the tension.

Luna: "Yeah, you can't, Tim," she says, not feeling guilty because she is Kim Yujin and just made that statement.

Timothy: "You little..." he begins, his voice trembling with rage.

Luna: "Go look for another chair, Mama's boy," she says in a stern and aggressive voice, her eyes blazing.

Timothy feels hurt because of his past, but he hides it and goes to another seat. No one notices the pain in his eyes.

Grayson: "Back to the intro, this is Lucas."

Lucas: "Sup, and what are your names?" he asks, looking at Luna and Quinn with a curious expression.

Luna: "My name is Luna."

Quinn: "And my name is Quinn."

Grayson: "And these three other guys are Beau, Max, and Suga."

Beau, Max, and Suga: "What's up?" they say in unison, their voices blending together.

Quinn: "Just chilling. Well, since you've introduced yourselves, let's introduce the rest of the girls," she says as the rest of the girls come in.

June: "My name is June..." she says shyly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Yasmine: "...Mine is Yasmine..." she adds, her cheeks flushing.

Denise: "The least but not the last, I'm Denise," she says confidently, her eyes sparkling.

Yujin's Thoughts: Since this is the first day of school, I already have a frenemy. I wonder how this will turn out.

The next teacher enters the class and asks everyone to introduce themselves.

Teacher: "Good day, students. I am Mr. Yoon. I'll be your class teacher. Please, I would like everyone to introduce themselves." He points at Luna to introduce herself first.

Luna gets up and introduces herself.

Luna: "Hello, everyone. My name is Luna Tylerson. I'm 21 years old." She sits down after saying her name, her heart pounding.

Quinn: "My name is Quinn Yanzer. I'm 23 years old." She sits down after saying her name, her voice steady.

June: "Well... umm... My name is June Anderson. I'm 22 years old." She sits down after saying her name, her hands trembling slightly.

Yasmine: "My name is Yasmine Dunlop, and I'm 21 years old." She sits down after saying her name, her smile nervous.

Denise: "My name is Denise Zaine, and I'm 19 years old." She sits down after saying her name, her confidence unwavering. And then it's Grayson's turn.

Grayson: "My name is Grayson Miltz. I'm 23 years old." He introduces himself, then sits down and signals Timothy.

Timothy: "My name is Timothy Kerian. I'm 21 years old." But he didn't signal Beau, who was sleeping in class until Mr. Yoon gets a trumpet, comes very close to his ear, and blows into it very hard. Beau wakes up and, out of shock, falls on the floor while the other students laugh.

Beau: "I'm awake, I'm awake," he says in a shocked tone. "My name is Beau Pierre, and I'm 5 years old... oh... wait, I mean 22 years, my bad," he says, his face turning red with embarrassment.

Max: "My name is Max Thompson. I'm 21 years old."

Suga: "My name is Jung Suga, and I'm 20 years old."

Finally, all the students have introduced themselves except for Lucas.

Mr. Yoon: "Where is Lucas Ross?!"

Grayson: "Sir, he went out when the bell rang for the first period."

Mr. Yoon: "Oh really, when he comes back, he'll give me a reason."

Then the bell rings for break, and the teacher dismisses us.
