"I Wish Me a Happy Birthday"
I wish me a happy birthday, To me, a day of joy and delight. But why does sorrow veil my eyes? Where's the happiness that should ignite?
Why do tears fall without consent? Who stole the smiles that once bent? My heart, once full, now feels betrayed, A canvas where love's colors have faded.
I hold my phone, a hollow friend, Instead of a knife to cut and share the end. No butterflies dance in my chest, Only ache and longing find their nest.
For whom does my heart still ache? The one who vowed to keep it safe. Promises, like mirages, vanished in air, Leaving emptiness, a hollow lair.
Night's dark blanket wraps me tight, Wetting my pillow with silent cries tonight. I whisper low, a sorrowful refrain:
"I wish me a happy birthday, To me, a day of joy and delight."

Author POV: Hey everyone how are you??? I hope you all are fine.... There is good news that i finally started my university as a student of Marine science I'm happy and enjoy my university life with new friends My new poem is actually a part of my life....that part i never forget in my life till my death where i waiting for my lover, partner or you all can say my boyfriend to wish me on my b'day....but he forgot my b'day.... it's really breaking my heart....one side i waited whole just to wish him on his birthday....but on the other hand he come up with an excuse that he forget my b'day.... I don't know how to explain it But i hope you understand my pain through my poem Once again stay happy and healthy
