As the sun began to rise over the horizon, casting a warm golden glow on the beach, Jasmin felt something inside her shift. The days spent away from the chaos of school and the weight of her breakup had created a space for healing she didn't know she needed. She and June had spent hours talking about everything—their dreams, their fears, their experiences—and it felt like they were finally bridging the gaps that had opened between them.

"Can you believe we've been here for a week?" June said one morning as they sat on the porch, sipping coffee and listening to the waves crash against the shore.

"It feels like forever in the best way," Jasmin replied, a smile breaking through her earlier sadness. "I've missed this. Just us."

"Me too," June said, her voice softening. "You know, I was really worried about you back home. I didn't know how to help."

"I didn't make it easy," Jasmin admitted, her gaze drifting to the ocean. "But I've realized something. I need to be real about my feelings, not just for myself but for you too. You're my sister, and I can't push you away."

June nodded, her heart swelling with gratitude. "I'm always here, no matter what. We'll get through this together."

The bond between them felt unbreakable now. Jasmin took a deep breath, letting the salty air fill her lungs. She was ready to leave the past behind.
