On the Call

Man: "Sir, Badi Rani Sa is out of danger, still unconscious"

Rajveer: "Keep an eye on her, aur jaise hi hosh mein aaye, let me know first"

The call ended, and Rajveer walked back to his room from the balcony. Just as he stepped inside, a loud scream echoed through the room.

He froze for a moment, then turned towards the source of the scream, only to see his wife, Nandani, huddled in the corner, her face buried in her hands.

"Please... please don't hit me, please!" Nandani cried out in fear.

Rajveer's heart shattered into a million pieces. He rushed to her, trying to calm her trembling form. "Nandani, baccha , please, it's me. Koi tumhe chhuega bhi nahi , Please calm down, bacche, it's killing me to see you like this," he whispered, his voice a mixture of calm and guilt.

"Raj, she... she will find me, she'll hit me again," Nandani sobbed, her tears flowing uncontrollably.

"Nahi baccha , I promise, no one will ever touch you again. Please, just calm down," Rajveer pleaded, gently holding her as she trembled in his arms.

"Raj, please..." Nandani's voice trailed off as she fainted in his arms.

Rajveer held her tightly, feeling her limp body against his chest. Carefully, he lifted her and laid her on the bed. Sitting beside her, he kissed her forehead softly.

"Nandani, I swear on Mahadev, whoever is behind your tears, I will make them cry tears of blood. This will end soon, baccha. Everything I'm doing... it's to keep you safe," he whispered, his resolve hardening as he watched her fragile form.

"Baba Sa... Maa Sa, today I saw tears in Bhai Sa's eyes). Bhai Sa loves Bhabhi Sa a lot, then  why couldn't he ever love me? Maa Sa, I really miss you. When you left, Rani Sa took all my toys and burned them because I cried for you. Maa Sa,I didn't want this throne, I just wanted a normal family. I can't back off now. This throne has taken everything from me. I will take this throne, and destroy it ,so that no one has to die for this throne ," Advit whispered as he gazed at the night sky, puffing on his cigarette.

"Kuwar Sa, Badi Rani Sa is missing from the hospital," Advit's trusted man reported, breaking his thoughts.

"what?" Advit said, his voice rising in shock as he flicked the cigarette away and turned sharply towards him.

"How could this happen? I had my personal guards stationed there," Advit growled angrily.

"Sir, they were found dead in the hospital basement," the man reported, his voice tense.

"What about Abhimanyu? He was at the hospital," Advit asked, trying to keep his rage in check.

"Sir, he was hit on the head. No internal injuries, but he's still unconscious," the man explained.

"Someone from the palace is helping her. Find her, and find out who is helping her!" Advit ordered, his voice filled with fury.

The man nodded and left immediately.

"Only 10 days are left for the crowning ceremony... This game is getting messier," Advit muttered to himself, his mind swirling with dark thoughts.
