" Seriously hyung ? You almost gave me a heart attack"

The Oreo haired groaned when his brother tricked him to go out and scared him by standing in dark in all white clothes when he came back . The younger was scared to death and dramatically placed his hand on his chest when he realised it was jeongwon .

Jeongwon laughed at the younger being that scared and brought the small cake while turning on the lights ." I'm never serious bro"

" What is the cake for ? " Jeongin picked up the bag of popcorns with that said .

" You didn't tell me you won . And now that I'm ignoring the fact that you didn't, you're indirectly bringing it up instead of celebrating huh ? " The elder gave a dramatic sigh that he was hurt .

Jeongin pressed his lips into a thin line . He walked forward, towards the cake . " Light the candle " he said in a soft voice. To be honest, he was a bit taken aback by his brother celebrating for him winning in some show he went to a few days ago .

Jeongwon was not the type who liked music that much but he let the younger chase his dream to be an idol because he knew he was the only one who could support him . If he didn't support his younger, then maybe he would be held responsible for jeongin's downfall in life .

Yet , he still trained the younger , if not to become a cop then for self defence. He knows how cruel the world is , and he didn't want his brother to be involved in the underworld like he was because of his job . So he let him chase his dream , little did he knew a disaster was waiting for himself.

Jeongwon lit the candle and the younger blew it off with a wish . " Done , so what's the food for today ? I'm starving and cake is too sweet . "

" Tonight actually. And the dinner is , bulgogi and japchae which I cooked myself " jeongwon said , putting down the cake in the table near them .

Jeongin's eyes lit up when he mentioned bulgogi , he may not be a fan of the food but he still like to eat it time to time . The two barely got the chance to enjoy such a meal together and so , it was special for him .

But soon , the glee in his eyes disappeared. " I wish mom was here too " a sigh left his mouth remembering his mother who passed away in a car accident a few years ago.

" Hmm , I'm sure she's happy for you . " Jeongwon tried to light up the mood " let's go , the food is getting cold "

" Hmm , let's eat . You may not know , but I was craving it last night "

" Yeah , sure you were " jeongwon played along as the two took their seats on the dinner table .

" I was craving some beer too, you know ! " The two were eating peacefully while bickering. The mood was light and cozy . The atmosphere was warm as the two shared the meal together.

Jeongin hated the fact that jeongwon's job didn't let him eat peacefully when he got a call from work . It was always like this , the two barely got to eat a meal together but because of a call from work they couldn't finish it together.

Jeongwon sat in front of the younger and sighed . " A call from work again " jeongin looked at him for a moment before speaking.

" You can go , I don't mind " no , it was a lie . He did mind and he didn't want to finish this meal alone too .

" It's okay , I'll go after I finish this meal " what just happened? Jeongwon for the first time didn't prioritise his work over a meal . It was a good thing for jeongin .

He smiled to himself and continued to chat with the elder for the rest of the meal. After which , jeongwon left and jeongin started his practice for the night as always.

Okay , a weird start but I'm sad for jeongwon.
Also . This is not jeongwon from enhypen, cause yeah , that jeongwon is younger. So I hope you don't imagine him as enhypen jeongwon!
