It was Tuesday when Otis woke me up right so early at 6am. I slept right after coming home. Lea and I didn't get a chance to talk and I was kinda glad because I knew she won't just forget about her question.

Otis: bitch come out already I need to tell you so many stuff

Otis: Ammy?
Me: go away
Otis: (getting inside my room then sit on my bed)
Me: can you go away?
Otis: I met with Kris and really he was kinda badly injured
Me: mmm
Otis: are you listening?
Me: (under my blankets) mmh
Otis: so he's dead

Otis: Mrs Miller asked your number and I gave her
Me: (getting out of the blankets and look at Otis) really?
Otis: oh so you listening when it's about her?
Me: eh I was listening to you though
Otis: bro I said Kris is dead and you didn't even react
Me: he's what?
Otis: exactly, you were not listening
Me: but what happened to him?
Otis: I'm joking
Me: why would you joke about someone's death like that man but okay never mind what about Mrs Miller?
Otis: I was checking where's your head at to get your attention
Me: fuck off (getting inside the blankets again)
Otis: look I'm going to college today and I need the measurements
Me: take them on my bag and get the fuck off I still need to sleep
Otis: can you let me nap with you? I had a tough night
Me: (getting my head out and look at him) what's wrong?
Otis: I told Kris to go fuck himself it's over.
Me: what? Didn't you say he's in hospital?
Otis: he is and I told him right there, his mom asked who am I to him and he said he don't know me, he didn't even say I'm his friend he said I don't know him mom I promise. But as soon as his mom left the room he started being sweet like nothing happened
Me: that's too much, you told him when he was acting all up?
Otis: funny but for a minute I almost fell for his shit again but as soon as his mom came in I told him to get the fuck off and we shall never meet from here onwards. I told his mom that I'm his embarrassment when he's with everyone but when he's with me I'm his lover but we done because he's a piece of shit
Me: come here, I know how hard it must have been to do all that I mean you loved him (pulling him closer)
Otis: I surely did (laying his head on my arms)

We cuddled up without talking, I was mad that I didn't realise he's really hurt but he just always manages to act tough. Just after few minutes, Lea bugded in.

Lea: Ammy?
Me: (lifting my head up)
Lea: can I come sleep with you guys?
Me: ain't you suppose to be getting ready for school?
Lea: I don't need those teachers they need me
Otis: who tf told you that baby?
Me: Uhm
Otis: what? You fucking told her that?
Me: I kinda did
Otis: wtf
Lea: (coming closer) she's right though
Me: i meant her friends , gosh I don't know what did I get myself into. But I promise I meant her friends (laughing) she told me she don't need me, I need her so it's like shes taking it way too personal or whatever
Lea: (getting in between me and Otis, lay her back on the headboard) guys tell me, it's right to fall in love with the same gender?
Me: bitch you still there?
Lea: you lied, you said you'll answer me
Me: I thought you over it
Otis: Baby you see in life, there are people who fall in love with the same gender, a girl fall in love with a girl
Me: Otis?
Otis: no let me finish, so Lea a guy can fall in love with another guy and that's not wrong because how is he supposed to control his feelings? But the society says it's wrong. They are against it , some says it's embarassing but some support it, like my mom. She support it. So lea we have people who still wonders if they really have feelings for the same gender the society made them confused because they say it's wrong. Tell me if it was wrong why did It happen for the first place? So it's like that, some people are still on a process to understand that, it's called sexuality. They are still trying to understand their sexuality, a girl who loves girl, they say she's a lesbian that's what it is. And a guy who loves guys he's gay. And there are people who love both, those are bisexuals. And then Lea if you ever see a guy dressing up like a girl it's either he's gay and he's comfortable with wearing female clothing or there's a chance he's a transgender. I won't explain that though.
Me: was that necessary?
Lea: oh I understand, but what's transgender?
Otis: it's like, someone who's born a female but somehow she changes her pronouns to he because he's no longer a female. He did some surgery and became a male. And we should never judge them.
Lea: wow, I saw someone like that and I thought it's really cool he was dressing like that.
Otis: he was a guy?
Lea: yes but with make up and female clothing
Otis: you see, it's all out there but you're still young to understand
Lea: oh no, I'm not young. I understand it and I want to marry a girl
Me: Lea stop, don't ever repeat that
Otis: Lea, baby you're still a kid right now you can't be making such claims and your mom will get mad because I shouldn't be teaching you all this but you're lucky because you have me and I will teach you everything you need to know . You won't be confused like your sister.
Lea: Ammy are you bisexual?

Me: no, I'm straight like I love boys only.
Lea: but you kissed Jessie many times in your room when she use to visit you

Lea: yes, maybe you're confused. I'm confused too (laying her head on the headboard)
Otis: (chuckles) she's hilarious
Me: I don't understand what you got us into
Otis: baby what are you confused about?
Lea: my sexuality, I think I like girls not boys they boring
Me: Lea shut up, you don't want to piss our parents. Otis might have told you this but he forgot to say our parents are against a girl liking another girl
Lea: I remember when mom scolded you, she said you don't know what you're doing. Jessie is playing with you. And there's something wrong with you, you need someone professional to talk to.

Lea: but I was worried about you, you were always happy when Jessie was here but when our parents said you are mental unstable you stoppped being happy. After Jessie left it felt like she took part of your happiness. You hardly eat with us , you spend 3 days without talking to mom or dad. You spend half of your time here sleeping because you can't sleep at night unless I'm there. I thought you loved Jessie and it was wrong maybe that's why my parents did what they did.
Me: oh baby come here (kissing her forehead then hug her) stop acting too matured of your own age. You'll ruin your childhood

Me: listen baby, I have a boyfriend. And that Mrs Miller? She's Mrs because she has a husband, like mom and dad

Lea: where is he then?
Me: London , I'm not sure.
Lea: then how will I see him?
Otis: she's lying she doesn't have a boyfriend
Me: oh my boyfriend? He's in college I'll let you meet him one day
Otis: I'll also be glad to meet him
