Chapter 4 {ECLIPSE}

Eclipse didn't really remember what happened. Sunny didnt want to tell her.

She pulled out the phone that she stole from the human market. She stole four, two for her, two for Sunny.

Gale, have you yelled at ur

mama before??????

Yes, why?

Eclipse?

...

Oh no.

Eclipse chuckled a little. She wished Gale was there.

Night.

She turned off the human device, letting it rest on her stomach. She got up and trailed her silky nightgown down the castle hall. She needed to know what she did. And she knew who would tell her.

King Comet was working late, as usual. His crown sat on the table, being used as a fortress to protect his coffee cup from being spilt. His hands flew across the papers, his messy handwriting filing the paperwork.

"Hey dad."

Comet flinched. He looked up at her. "Hey midnight, what's up?" he asked, organizing the papers into a stack.

"What did I do to mom?" she asked, stopping her father in his tracks. He held Eclipse's gaze for a bit, trying to muster up the courage to tell her a lie.

He failed.

"Well, first things started to float around you. Then you kinda yelled at her. Scared Sunny and your mom half to death."

"That's it? Sunny refused to tell me anything, she flinched when I talked. She flinched. She acted like she hadn't almost burned tish to death! I had to yell her name 10 times before she stopped. And I just yelled and made things float!" she yelled, pacing the floor.

"Midnight. Go to bed."

Eclipse stomped to her room, slamming the door.

"Why do we have to go?" Sunny grumbled, her arms crossed.

"Because I'm friends with Queen Kuuki. I don't understand why you hate visiting so much. Play with Gale and Eclipse."

"First of all, we wouldn't play, and secondly, Gale hates me!"

"Gale doesn't hate you. More of a... mild disliking, that's all." Eclipse said, rolling her eyes. Did Sunny always have to be this dramatic?

"Eclipse, you're not helping!" her mom said through clenched teeth.

The three flew alongside three guards. The guards looked as if they were trying hard to not listen in.

Finally, they had gotten to the Air Kingdom. The Queen, King, and princess all waited outside of the castle.

Eclipse ran and hugged Gale. she knew this would cause a stir in the media, but what does not? The first time they visited, they had to stay inside for two months because of the raging crowds of drakes outside.

"Hello Star," Queen Kuuki said, smiling. "It's been a while. I see King Comet stayed home?"

"He stayed late last night to have King Barracuda come over to our castle." Star said, giving her friend a hand shake.
