Rylee always loved Godzilla..and the creatures movies that went along with it..so why not invite her boyfriend, Johnny, to watch with her? (She is rather embarrassed..)

Johnny and Rylee need this happiness I promise.

Rylee paced back and forth, her nails being chewed between her uneven teeth as she looked cautiously at the front door. She brushed her thin hair past her ears, letting it hang off her shoulder blades carefully and elegantly.

She folded the Godzilla shirt again, and again, placing it into her lap before re-doing it again; for some reason, her heart was racing in her ribs, she didn't know why. Well—obviously she did. It was because her boyfriend, Johnny, was finally seeing a weirder, not as strong or girly side of her after he realizes what she watches when no one else is around.

Rylee's eyes shimmered in the pale TV glow in the dark house, the screen reflecting off her glasses. Her eyes shone of eagerness, and pure childlike energy, however she quickly cut it out after she heard four knocks on her front door, her and Johnny's signature knocks. She would use four knocks at his house, so his parents weren't so..insane about it, and he would use four when she was home alone.

She quickly jumped up, brushing off her shirt and sweatpants, not wanting to look like a mess, even though she already looked like one. She bit the inside of her cheek, opening the door sheepishly.

Johnny smiled at her, his eyes shifted to the side out of nervousness. "Hi." He waved slightly towards her, just wearing his normal black shirt and ripped and muddied jeans.

Rylee beamed, immediately pulling Johnny into the house with a wide smile. "Hi!" She pulled him into her arms, her heart fluttering into her chest as she pulled back.

"I uhm.." Rylee motioned towards the built up pillow fort; one that circled her couch. "I made that..for us." She smiled, looking up at him with her sweetest face she could muster up.

Johnny flushed at the face. "Really..? Rylee, you know you didn't have to..right?" He glanced at the fort, then back at Rylee.

She nibbled on her lower lip. "I know..I just thought since we were having a uh..movie night, we could like—cuddle, and stuff." She said quickly, giving a small panicked face before holding her hand out for him to take.

Johnny placed his hand into hers, his bloodied hands wrapping around her soft skin; intertwining their fingers together. "I think it's dashing, you know." Johnny encouraged her, giving her hand a soft squish before following behind Rylee.

His eyes drifted towards the shirt, pulling away from Rylee to pick it up. "What's this?" He asked, giving a soft look as he tilted his head.

She sighed, reluctantly unfolding it from his hands. "I maybe asked Dally if he knew your shirt size, and well..I bought it so we could match." Rylee lifted her own shirt from the other side of the couch.

Johnny paused, before smiling softly, his teeth shining. "I love it, thank you Rylee." He smiled, "Where could I change into it? Plus..what movie are we even watching?" Johnny quizzed, glancing towards her.

"You can change in the bathroom, I'll change in my room." Rylee motioned up the stairs. "The movie..it's so stupid."

"Is it Godzilla?" He asked, cocking a eyebrow as he looked at the shirt. "Dally's mentioned it a few times, specifically with you and how you're, I say this in his own words, 'That girl is obsessed with it, she won't shut up about it.'" Johnny made air quotes with his free hand.

Rylee blushed, letting out a loud groan as she nudged him towards the stairs. "Yes it's Godzilla. I figured you would like to..you know, watch it with me or something." Rylee babbled, moving Johnny up the stairs as he let out a soft laugh.

"I would love to..just know I can't take the shirt home. I would have to give it to Dally, or you keep it." Johnny looked over at Rylee from over his shoulder, "Uhm, the bathroom. Where is it?" He looked around.

"I have one in my room." Rylee motioned to her room, nudging the door open with her foot. "Just let me tell you when I'm done changing, so you don't walk in on me." She blushed when she said that, but Johnny nodded, giving her a thumbs up before trailing to the bathroom.

Rylee groaned under her breath. She was so going to tell Dally what Johnny told her, and was going to tell him that he shouldn't be commenting about her like that at all.

She quickly threw on the shirt, announcing to Johnny that she was done and he came out with the matching shirt, small smile on his face but returning to his puppy like pout.

Rylee held her hand out, Johnny taking her hand into his; a smile on his face.

Rylee blushed, curled up next to Johnny in the pillow fort, her head resting on his chest as she listened to his heart race once she shifted her head. Johnny shakily raised a arm, before placing it and wrapping it around Rylee with a nervous tenseness in his arm.

Rylee blushed, but leaned against the touch.

The movie was still going, but was going through a commercial break.

"So.." Johnny started, "Mothra..she's like, a moth? Like, I know that..but it's just, why is she there?"

Rylee perked up at the question. "She's basically like, it's apart of the hierarchy of the monsters. There's so much like, backstory on it. It would take me forever to explain it, and I don't wanna bore you." She giggled lightly.

"Then explain it. It wouldn't bore me." Johnny responded quickly, before tugging his shirt to adjust it.

Rylee glanced up at him. "You're kidding me, you're messing with me. No one ever listened to me talk about this.." She let out a small laugh.

"I'm not." He smiled, his face growing red and hot with embarrassment.

Rylee's eyes shimmered, before she gently pushed herself up, and started talking, talking and talking about the damned movie series, but Johnny listened, with a shy but happy look on his face as she seemed like a hyperactive child who was allowed to have candy.

The movie strolled on, and Rylee fell asleep first, leaving Johnny to his own thoughts, nervous as he was, he decided to just let her curl up against him and he fell asleep with her next to him.

In the morning, she was wrapped up in his arms and legs with his calm, yet shaky breath as he slept.

Her glasses shifted, before she carefully removed them and curled up next to him, her head spinning with pure joy and happiness; her smile wide and showed her uneven teeth even though she was ashamed of it.
