Mira returned home after her evening with Roshan, her heart heavy but filled with a decision she had finally made. She had told Roshan the truth—her heart belonged to Samar. Now, she was ready to open up to Samar about her feelings, despite everything that had happened between them. She had decided she couldn't keep her emotions locked away any longer. It was time to tell him, to be honest with him, and let whatever happens, happen.

As she entered the house, she expected to find Samar, but to her surprise, the house was empty. The silence was unsettling. She wondered where he could be, but brushed it aside, thinking he might return soon. With her wedding ring on her finger, she waited, glancing at the clock as the hours passed.

But as the night dragged on, there was still no sign of Samar. Every passing minute it filled her with more anxiety and confusion. She had prepared herself to speak from her heart, to tell him she loved him, and now, she was left waiting in a house that felt colder with each moment.

Finally, in the early morning, the sound of the door opening caught Mira's attention. She rushed to see if it was Samar, hoping that maybe everything could finally be cleared between them. But what she saw shattered her.

Samar walked in—but he wasn't alone. Jenni was with him.

Mira's heart sank. She felt a sharp pain of betrayal stab through her as she watched Samar and Jenni enter together. She had spent the entire night waiting for Samar, wanting to confess her love to him, and now she was faced with the sight of him returning with the woman she thought he had left behind. The wedding ring on her finger felt like a cruel reminder of what was slipping away.

Samar, on the other hand, looked at Mira, unsure of what to make of the situation. His mind raced with thoughts of the previous night—how Mira had gone off with Roshan, how Roshan had confessed his feelings for her. He couldn't shake the thought that maybe Mira had accepted Roshan's love. And now, seeing Mira standing there, he could feel the tension between them.

"Amara," Samar started, his voice low and conflicted, "when did you come back from Roshan? How was the night with him?"

Mira felt her heart break even more at his question. She wanted to scream, to tell him the truth, but all she could do was look at him, her eyes filled with sadness.

Instead of responding, Mira asked quietly, "Where have you been all night, Samar? With Jenni?"

The accusation in her voice startled Samar. He hadn't expected her to question him like this, but her words made him wonder. Why is she asking this? Could it be she didn't spend the night with Roshan? Did she come back earlier? Was she waiting for me? The realization hit him like a wave of confusion, but before he could process it, Jenni spoke up.

"Yes, he was with me," Jenni said, her voice confident as if she wanted to ensure there were no misunderstandings.

Samar stood frozen for a moment, torn between Jenni's words and the turmoil of emotions he saw on Mira's face. He felt trapped in a web of confusion, misunderstandings building between them like a wall neither could break through.

Without saying anything further, Samar turned and walked with Jenni to his room. His mind was racing with doubt, but he didn't know how to handle what was happening. Everything felt wrong.

As the door closed behind Samar and Jenni, Mira stood alone in the hallway, tears brimming in her eyes. She felt a rush of emotions—heartbreak, anger, and the overwhelming weight of everything that had happened between them. She couldn't hold it in anymore.

She ran to her room, shut the door behind her, and collapsed onto her bed. The tears she had held back all night came rushing out. With shaking hands, she looked down at her wedding ring, the symbol of the bond she thought might finally have a chance. But now, it felt like a mockery. Her love for Samar, the hope she had clung to, had all come crashing down.
