"Simone if you need to take the call, you can take it. This movie will be here when you come back," Nate states to me in response to my phone ringing for the fifth time in the row since we've started watching our favorite movie She's the Man. And for five times I've purposely been declining the call hoping that the caller would take a hint but it doesn't seem to be working.

"Trust me it is no one important," I roll my eyes and reposition myself on the couch.

"Well could you silence it so it will no longer be a disturbance?" Keisha, another best friend of mine, questions in bit of annoyance.

"Then if I do that I'll get fussed at for having my phone on silence or dnd. And I do not need my head chewed off like last time," I roll my eyes again irritated at the person in mind.

"Well since we're obviously not going to be having a movie night, I'll go grab the wine glasses and wine," Keisha gets up from her seat and heads to the kitchen.

"I'm sorry Kesh, you guys can just have movie night without me and I'll go busy myself in my room or go out to the court or something."

"Now I see you want me to be the one to curse you out," Nate steps into view and gives me her infamous stern looks. "Step outside of this loft if you want to then I'll be the one to continuously blow your phone up. We've seen that movie many times before anyways and we already know how it's going to play out. It's obvious a girl talk is what's needed so that is going to happen."

You know what, now that think I about it, having a chewed head is much more enjoyable than having a girl talk conversation with these two.

"On second thought I'm gonna take my chances on having a chewed head and silencing this phone. Kesh what other movies did you have in mind?"

"The love triangle you currently have going on. Tell me why Spencer has now texted me after apparently not being able to get in touch with you," her and Nate both shoot me a look, "and he is wanting to know about your whereabouts. Now two things I hate, being put in the middle and I also hate lying to the people I have a good relationship with. Spence is my dawg just like you're my girl."

"Easy do what I did, don't answer."

"Uh my read receipts are on."

"Turn them off," I shrug.

"Simone!"

"What?" I laugh, "look tell him I'm good and that's all he needs to know. Don't tell him that last part though." She shakes her head as she begins to type a response back to him.

"What's the issue with you two now? I thought y'all were finally back on good terms?"

"And we were Nate, apparently the terms were too good that it's now causing a problem in my relationship."
