Alyana's POV:

I'm stuck in the traffic since the past half an hour.I left from the office and was heading towards my parent's house. I had to gather some of my belongings which i had left behind during my marriage. My mother didn't even allowed me to pack my things properly.

Aslan doesn't knows that I'm going there otherwise he would have never allowed me,now that he knows everything my parents did to me,he hates them.

Anyways it will only take a few minutes,I'll gather my things and leave because Zain bhai is also not at home and no one else there cares about my presence.

After struggling in the traffic, finally i reach my parent's house and pull infront of the front door.I take a long deep breath before getting out of the car.I walk towards the door and ring the bell waiting to see the people who hate me with their heart.

The door opened after a minute by none other than my mother whose expression changed from smiling to a disgust face upon seeing me.But this time i kept looking directly in her eyes,I'm not that old Alyana who used to immediately look down when she saw those disgust in her mother's eyes.

This Alyana knows how to speak for herself, this Alyana is different, she's different because she was healed by her husband."What are you doing here?Did your in-laws threw you out of the house" My mother's harsh words brought me back.

"No they didn't,and they will never.I just came here to take my belongings which you didn't allowed me to pack, now if you would excuse me please." I said trying my best to keep myself calm.

My mother opened her mouth and then closed it back. She moved aside and i walked directly towards my room.As soon as i opened the door, all the memories rushed back in.I walked inside and sat at the on my bed.

This place was the only solace i had whenever i had my panic attacks. My mother would hit me, scold me and i would rush to my room and cry for hours until Zain bhai would come and console me.

After a time i stopped that,i accepted my fate.Somewhere i knew i was responsible for my brother's death. If i had not forced him to exchange the dress that day then maybe he would have been saved. But i don't feel what happened that night was merely a robbery case or something, because that man didn't came to the car to take something,he just killed Hamza bhai and left.

That means it was always a planned murder, but the question i have since the past five years is that why would someone want to kill my brother. He was the best human being i ever saw,he cared for everybody, loved us so much,he also managed a NGO for girls who had no place to go,helped them financially, gave them jobs and many more helps.

I wanted to know who did this to my brother that's why i kept investigating with his friends and whoever he knew with the help of Zarim. But the only thing police told us was that the man who killed my brother belonged to a mafia gang and their lead was untraceable so they can't help much in this case.
After a year Zarim left India and eventually i lost all hope of giving justice to my brother.

I wiped my tears that were rolling down my cheeks and got up to take my belongings from the cupboard. As i opened the cupboard,it was empty. There was nothing except some bedsheets and blankets.I ran downstairs to my mother and stood in front of her with the tear stained cheeks.

"Where did you kept the box that was there in my cupboard" I said and she looked at me rolling her eyes.
"We threw it in the storeroom,i was about to throw it out of the house but your brother insisted so it's over there,i don't know what treasure-" My mother said and before she could say anything else i rushed towards the storeroom.

The room was filled with spider webs and dust, for a minute it was almost impossible to see clearly.I turned on the flashlight of my phone and moved further. After searching for half an hour i found a red velvet box lying under a table,i took a breath of relief and pulled the box out.
