Author's note:: I hope you did not forget that Zain and Dhairya have a younger brother too.
One week has already passed after our marriage and the only thing I am quite sure about is that this family is Insane. For the world the Oberoi family is perfect, but inside the four walls of the mansion, no words are shared between the brothers unless necessary. They despise their mother from their every being. Dad comes home only after dinner time and leaves early morning, mostly busy in his company as his sons have their own to handle.
I wonder why the boys chose building their own empires without any influence... maybe self respect shit and all that.
And my mother in law omg, I saw her everyday early in the morning roaming around like a ghost. My sleep usually broke at 3 or 3:30 so I used to take a stroll in garden where I found her sitting, lost in thoughts, drowning in something really complicated to comprehend from the other end.
The more I thought about the family issues.. more I got tangled into the web of assumptions and complications which was way to tempting yet distracting. AND I HAD NO TIME TO WASTE ON DISTRACTIONS.
I was ready in my white 3 piece office suit contrasting with the dark circles prominent on my eyes which I tried to hide using a concealer. What else could I even do? Applying a light, professional make up, I was ready for the day and the meetings they held.
I made my way downstairs only to find the others ready to leave.
In this one week, I and Zain hardly talked other than casual greetings, not like we were ignoring each other but we had nothing to express.
"Good morning Bhabhi", Dhairya chimed.
"Good morning Dhairya".... I looked up at him making his way downstairs still in his sleepwear.
My eyes widened looking at his face. Zain too looked shocked as he bit his inner cheek trying not to burst out laughing. Aashika smirked at him which caught his attention.
"Why are you smirking?", he asked more like yelled in arrogance.
"Well it's for me to know and you to find out", she replied winking at him.
