The next day, when the young girl opened her eyes and was met with the empty ceiling once again, her mind started processing what possible occurrence she had to go through. With that heavy weight in her chest that wouldn't be removed, Alleia Swan turned to her side and silently stared at the cold, empty space next to her. She slowly raised her other arm and caressed the spot, slightly smelling the woody, masculine perfume of a man.
She furrowed her eyebrow and stood straight from her bed, eyes trailing up to her roof window. Alleia took a step closer to see the slight open gap from her window. She knew they visited her while she was asleep-just like they used to do to her before.
she swallowed hard and turned around, but to her surprise, the girl accidentally let out a loud yelp when she saw none other but Emmett Cullen standing meters away from her, wearing nothing but his large black hoodie, with his dark grey sweatpants, and sneakers. Yet, his expression was something the girl didn't notice right away.
Because when Alleia realized it was none other but her mate, the young girl quickly ran to emmet before wrapping her tiny arms around him, tightly, and burying her face in his chest to smell the familiar scent he carries.
She pushed further more of her face to him, her heart clenching with mixed emotions. Emmett slowly raised his arm to embrace her back, but it was hesitant, she felt it. Their hug was now just a piece of coldness, and Alleia sought the comfort she used to feel from her mate.
It took minutes for the girl to part away, with a hopeful smile spreading across her lips, and the single tear pooling in her eyes.
She looks up and stares at Emmet's stone expression, Alleia uses her other hand and cups his cheek, feeling his cold skin against the warmth.
" i-ive been looking for you, Edward, and Jasper yesterday in school, i kept waiting, but you guys didn't appear, I...I was anxious, I waited last night for a call or a message from one of you! You were shutting me off-! " She rambles her worry at first
until she ends up screaming and punching him in the chest, even tho what she only gets was pain in her knuckles due to their strong bodies, Emmet accidentally stumbles back with a step before catching her arm from another punch.
Alleia catches her breath while directly looking at his unrising chest, but Emmett only holds back her wrist in a softer way...
"Can we talk properly? "
And Alleia looks up at her mate again, who slowly lets go of her wrists, watching as his visible Adam's apple in his throat swallows.
"O-okay. " She replies shakily

Arriving at the center of the forest, the place where they confessed to her for the first time, Alleia tucks her hands inside her jacket from the coldness. And because she was anxious, she didn't change her short pajamas just to go through what was bothering him, even though he hesitated to wait for her
eyeing their surroundings, the forest was now clear, with no more fog in today's ground, it was just the both of them and the coldness wrapping around her.
" I don't know how to tell you this but, me and my family are leaving this town... " Emmett spoke since they arrived in the forest
right away when he watched her expression fall, Alleia Swan didn't move in her spot. Unable to let out words, her eyes moved away from Emmett, and the tears that she had been holding back began to fall.
" Baby... we're sorry if we have to leave you- "
But Emmet was cut off when she begins to laugh hysterically, Alleia Swan laughs while her eyes still couldn't stop from spiling tears. He looks back at the girl, painfully. Wishing he could do something to remove the pain they caused her instantly.
" Q-quit the joke, Emmett- "
he speeds in front of her and takes her in his arms, and if vampires are given the chance to cry, he will cry with her. Emmett uses his both large arms, protectively holding his mate, thinking that this is the last time he could ever get to hold her. Alleia's laugh slowly goes down but is replaced with sobs.
She stays in his arm for a second before trying to push him away again
" This isn't funny. This is not funny Emmett.... This isn't funny! " She screams at the top of her lungs and clenches her hand tightly in his sweater
Alleia can't exactly remember when was the last time she cried so hard like this, but for sure not from heartbreak because she had never been in love before with someone.
They were her first and also became the first to ruin her heart.
Falling from her wobbly legs, they fell to their knees, and Emmett didn't let go.
" please- "
" Carlisle is supposed to look ten years older than he looks, people start to notice. Last night at your sister's party in our place, Jasper nearly put her life at risk because of his hunger " Emmett reveals.
The girl didn't say anything else but couldn't stop herself from crying. Alleia wished she could speak, or even fight her mate at this point, she wouldn't even care if she possibly broke them, despite it not enough from the pain they're causing her.
" go on, leave. " She whispered, voice breaking in the end, Oinly for Emmett to pull her more tightly.
"I don't want to, baby- " He replies, looking somewhere in the forest while the pain in his chest begins to hurt even more.
" but will I ever see you again? " Alleia asks and presses the side of her face into his chest. Emmett didn't respond, he didn't know what to answer. But what she omnly get was a kiss on the top of her head.
" There will be a piece of us with you, forever "
And Alleia shuts her teary eyes
before the feeling of emptiness came back.
She didn't want to open her eyes and meet with what she expected, her broken sobs were the only sound that filled the forest. And there was no more embrace, no more voice, no more feelings. He was gone, and he left her.
Alleia couldn't be more scared to open her eyes
because there is no one anymore that's with her
