I read the clock in my car. 11:25. Ugh, I was so mad. I can't believe I actually went to that gathering. Everyone was so fucking rude.

I mean, my own family was insulting my grandpa. I felt like picking up the table and individually hit everyone upside the head with it. That would be great.

I groaned as I hit my steering wheel. I was also scared. And terrified. It was after dark. All my doors were locked, and I checked in the trunk and behind the seats 3 times to make sure no one was there. I was more careful now.

I sighed as I focused on the road. No one was out here. There were no cars driving the opposite way, and there were no cars in front or behind me. It was kind of strange. I shook it off.

Near 11:40, I made it onto a road that had forests surrounding it. Oh, shit. I but my lip. I didn't want to go on the road, but I knew I had to. I would feel better if there were cars around, though.

Suddenly, just near the range of the end of my headlights, I saw a car. It was toppled over on its side. I stared wide-eyed at it, and slammed on the breaks.

I stopped just in front of the car. My front bumper was kissing the wheel of the car. I grabbed my phone from the passenger seat with shaking hands. There was no smoke. It was like someone took a new car and carefully placed it on its side in the middle of no-where.

I didn't want to get out of my car. I would've picked anything other than that. I would choose meeting the guy that was supposed to kill me rather than this. I had to see if there was a baby in there, though.

I checked around my car from the inside, and then quickly got out. I had my keys with me, and I locked my car so no one could sneak in.

I scurried to the car, and went around it. I carefully looked through the windows, and I thought I was going to see a bloody body in there, but no one was in there. Nothing was in there. It was literally a brand new car.

This is strange. Oh, fuck, I should have never of gotten out of the car. What if this was a trap? A trick? I quickly turned around, and what I saw almost made me shit myself.

Someone was there. Someone was in my car, sitting in the passenger seat. From what I could see, he had a black trench coat on, and a black fedora hat that covered the right side of his face.

Oh, my fuck. I thought about running back to my house on foot, but what if he came after me? How did I not see him?

I stared open-mouthed at him, and then our eyes met. He had icy green eyes that were emotionless. Oh my god. Lord help me.

I was about to let out a scream, but then I saw something illuminating my car, and I turned around to see a speeding car whiz pass me. There was human life here.

I felt like running after the car. I turned around again, and I almost fell over. The car wasn't there, and neither was the person. How is that possible? Was I seeing things? Was I a schizophrenic?

I shivered. I ran back into my car (I checked the trunk and the back of the seats, of course) and slammed my foot on the gas pedal. I heard the screeching of rubber on concrete, and I knew I left a mark.

I was never, ever, ever, staying out after dark, or driving on one of these roads again.
