"We're going to another party tonight," my best friend and roommate, Louis said.

I looked up at him from the blue couch I was sitting on, one of my eyebrows raised as my mouth was slightly open. "No, you are. I'm not coming."

"Oh come on!" he whined. He looked at me with pleading eyes, which I only huffed at. "You love partying! What happened?"

I bit my lip. Should I tell him? He probably won't believe me. I wouldn't even believe myself. Seeing someone in your car? And then blinking and then they're gone? Seems impossible.

"Can we go home early if we do?" I asked, this time giving him pleading eyes.

He smiled down at me. "Of course, Ni." He ruffled my hair as he walked away, leaving a smile on my face. I'm glad I had a friend like Louis.

"Wow," Louis said, looking around the room at all the people. "It's packed in here."

I rolled my eyes, looking around the room, too. It was. I could barely move. I have never been to a party this big before.

I surveyed the room, and my eyes landed on someone. I almost fell on the guy who was dancing with his girlfriend behind me. It was him. It was the guy I saw in my car last night.

I stared open-mouthed at him. I wondered if people were watching me, staring with wide eyes at something that probably wasn't even there.

For proof to see that I wasn't insane, I went to tap Louis on the shoulder, my eyes staying on his green ones the entire time. But, I didn't feel him. I broke away from the guys gaze to find Louis. He was moving towards the kitchen.

I groaned. I looked back at the guy. He was gone. Again?!

Deciding that I really don't want to be at this party and I my as well have fun, I went looking for the guy. The basement was packed, so was the kitchen. The only place that seemed deserted was upstairs.

I shrugged. I made my way past dancing people who were to into it to even move. I felt like pushing some guy down, but he was buff. He could probably knock me out in a single punch.

I made my way up the stairs and went into the first room. No on was in here, thank God. I wouldn't want to see people making babies. That would scar me for life.

It was only illuminated by a small lamp on a night side table. It illuminates the room quite well, but the room was so big that I still couldn't see in the corners of it.

I went to walk out, but a voice stopped me,

"I knew you would come looking for me."

I jumped, spinning around. The door closed and locked behind me and I felt myself growing more and more terrified.

In the far corner of the room, the guy emerged from the shadows. He had his hands stuck in his black trench coat pockets, and his black fedora was still covering the right side of his face.

And he was still wearing those God-awful boots.

I didn't know what to say. "How - how do you know that?"

His one green eye that I could see pierced into my blue ones.

"Louis is my friend," he answered plainly, shrugging. "He talks a lot about you."

I backed up against the door as he took a couple of steps towards me. His skin was white, and almost transparent.

"L - Louis never mentioned you," I said suspiciously, narrowing my eyes at him.

"You don't know my name, babe," he said, smirking. Oh, so this guy was a smartass.

I scowled at him. That was true, but I would have asked him if I didn't know the name of someone. This guy was contradicting himself.

"Then tell me your name," I demanded with a shaky voice. I was scared, but I couldn't let it show. I know that this guy wouldn't kill me here. Or, maybe he will...

He smiled. "Nuh uh uh," he said, shaking his head. He took a couple of steps closer to me, and as he did, I felt the room getting colder and colder. "I don't want to tell you that."

I scowled at him. His green eye flashed with something as he moved his face closer to mine. I shivered. It was freezing in here. It felt like -47 degrees in the room.

He examined my face, taking in every inch, as if he was trying to remember every detail of it. "You know...." he trailed off, reaching his hand out to touch my cheek.

Before he did, someone banged on the door. I jumped. I turned around and quickly opened it. The room immediately felt warmer.

"What are you doing in here?" Louis asked, checking around the room.

I blushed as I looked behind me. He wasn't there. My face fell and paled as I turned back to Louis. "Nothing, just wanted to get away from the party."

"Okay. Come on!" Louis grabbed my hand, and the cold presence started to spread across my back, as if the guy was standing behind me. "They're having a drinking contest downstairs!"

Louis pulled me away, and before I couldn't see the room, I took a peek. The guy stood in the doorway, a big smirk on his face.

"See you soon," he whispered, and it filled the air around me. I felt a bit dizzy. How did he do that?

Then, he was gone.
