"There is no way you lost to an Athena Camper".
Danny and I were getting ready for Capture the flag. He was putting on his helmet.
"What can i say John, she's really good" he said. " Maybe, but not big 3 good. I think you let her win, though, i don't know why". I said kinda annoyed.

Danny was the 2nd best swordsman at camp (besides me obviously). So it got me a bit worried that this... New camper... You could even say noob, could beat him. "What if she's better than i am" i thought. "No no that can't happen... Tonight.. Well... In 30 minutes... I'll prove i'm the best.." I thought.
But then i thought deeper about all this Danny losing thing.. And i came to one very obvious conclusion.

"Wait, Danny..." "Yeah?". " You like this girl don't you...? That's why you let her win!" I said very sure of what the answer would be. "Uh..." He blushed. "HA! I knew there was something fishy going on! Yeah yeah! That means she's not that good! Which means that... Wait... Woah... You like her?!". Danny then blushed again. "It's nothing.. Just a little crush.." Danny said.

"DUDE! This isn't nothing! You let yourself lose to a girl you like?! Now everyone at camp thinks poorly about you!" I said angrily.

"What do you even see in her?"

"Bro chill. You know what? I have an idea. Let's make something tonight so it's like no other before... Lets make it... Legendary. That way i'll prove i'm not the weakling everyone thinks i am since i 'lost' to her while making you look awesome too." Danny said.
"Okay. You have my attention. But just so we're clear, i'm still the best swordsman at camp" i said. "Yeah totally. I'm okay with being the 2nd. So here's what we are gonna do." Danny said

After discussing our plan we headed down to the forest. Our plan consisted on taking both flags for us. Just us, The Son of Poseidon and the son of Zeus. Beating every other Demigod to get the flags. We would use all of our power to do this, to demostrate that we are not taken down easily, specially by an Athena camper.

I was being chased by 2 Ares Campers and 3 Athena Ones.

"Great" i thought. "My first victims".

I kept running until i reached the river. At that point i raised my twin Spathas and pointed them at my 5 chasers.

In a matter of miliseconds two waves 6 meters high erupted at my sides. Suddenly rushing forward to smash them under hundreds of liters of water.

And then. There it was, the blue flag. I lunged for it and then went the way i came. Dodging Spears and Swords and Arrows from different Demigods.

Some cheered thinking they were winning. But they had no idea...

Several minutes i ran, until i saw Danny, running at me with the red flag clutched in his left hand.

I acelerated to meet him and when we were both at the river... we did it.

We were combining our powers. Water and lightning. Both Flags went flying up in the air by the force of the new storm.

Spinning faster and faster every second that passed.

Campers were gathering all around us, though most of them were trying to keep standing, there was way too much wind.

Danny and i were a hurricane. An invincible one and then... BANG!

The flags... or should i say flag descended.

It was now a purple flag with an eagle and a horse in the middle.

We had done it. The first two people to beat two entire teams in capture the flag. With such power that everyone was dumbfolded.

"That'll show them you were playing it easy with her Danny..." i whispered

"Yeah... we have our statuses back up, children of the big 3".

2 hours after we had reorganized to our original places Chiron stopped us.

" John... Danny... that was one of the most amazing demostraitions of power i have seen... and i have seen a lot". He said

"I hope you continiue showing us your full power and that you try to surpass yourselves. And please try not to play easy with other campers... Marina might be bumped out since you didn't use your full power and skills Danny".

"Yes, sir" we both answered.

And with that we went to our own cabins, to rest after this very long, amazing day.
