And then we all died.

Just kidding, we didn't all die, though things went pretty bad from there.

As soon as Coeus impaled his sword through Marina we all reacted.

Danny yelled and shot lightning at Coeus, and if it wasn't enough he was on flying on his way towards him with his sword.

I sprinted towards Marina and invoked rain, enough rain to heal her.
She was breathing heavily and she was bleeding but thank Mars she was alive.

"HOW DARE YOU FOOLISH MORTALS" Coeus yelled, as Danny went in a thunder rampage against the Titan.

April and Beth regained their senses and went to help Danny.

But Coeus hit Danny straight in the chest and said deadly calmly, "You didn't think i came alone did you?"

And i suddenly knew how hard our quest became.

Werewolves started to appear, surrounding us and the Titan. Fire portals appeared and Hellhounds came out of them along with skeletons. And then blueish colored portals appeared and out came... Ice giants? If what April told me was correct then those were ice giants, servants of Loki, 5 feet taller than normal men, carrying ice spears, swords, shields and mazes.

"We are so screwed" Danny said. "Maybe, but we might as well try" I said.

"Stand down Demigods, if you ask me, it's not wise to charge" Coeus said.

Of course we charged.

I was slashing here and there at ice giants, i figured being a son of Neptune i'd have some influence over their weapons and bodies.

Danny kept striking with his sword, covered in electricity at Coeus.

Marina healed and was now a full grown She-Wolf, Bitting and Slashing at other werewolves, with clearly more strength and speed than the others.

Beth was shooting like crazy at the skeletons, striking every single arrow in their skulls.

And April... she was destroying the hellhounds, sending every single one of those bastards back to Tartarus, swinging her battle axe from Hellhound to hellhound.

"DAMN SON OF ZEUS" Coeus yelled, Danny was clearly defeating him.

In the second i got distracted an Ice giant took the chance to hit me square in the chest with his shield, i fell backwards and hit the ground, instantly rolling sideways to dodge an ice spear.

"I'm getting tired of you idiots" I said, lifting both spathas up, controlling their ice bodies and making them take a knee right there, without being able to do anything.

About 10 Ice giants unable to do anything.

"Thanks for cooperating" i said, sprinting towards Danny.

"DAMN YOU MORTALS" Coeus kept yelling as Danny kept hitting him square in... well everywhere.

"DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN YOU BASTARD TITAN" Danny yelled, but as he gave in on Anger Coues got a chance and hit Danny staright in his arm, slashing it open.

"AGHH" He yelled, falling to the ground, almost blacking out.

Coeus was now on top of Danny, about to impale his sword right through Danny's chest. That's when i came in.

I charged my sword full of earthquake power and hit Coeus in the head, knocking him off balance and away from Danny.

"You leave my friend alone" i said in a deadly calm tone.

"DAMN YOU!" He yelled as he charged towards me with his sword.

As soon as he made contact i blocked his attack with my left Spatha, only to charge my right spatha with earthquake power, impaling it through Coeus.

"You... yo... damn... mort..." he said, as he turned into dust, being sent back to Tartarus.

"Phew, that was a close one wasn't it?" I asked Danny, though i knew the answer.

"Dude, i was on the ground, about to black out and you're asking if it was a close one? You're out of your mind" Danny said.

The sudden defeat of Coeus made Danny and me forget we were still in the middle of a battlefield.

Beth had just shot her last arrow, with 5 more skeletons left ready to strike, and Marina was done with all the Werewolves but 2, who were giving her a hard time.

"What do you say man? You go save you're girl and i'll save her sister?" I asked Danny.

"She's not my... but yeah, lets do that" he said, blushing a little bit.

I ran towards Beth, who was being surrounded by the 5 remaining skeletons, each of them had a sword and a helmet.

"Beth get out of the way!" I yelled, as i disolved the bodies of 9 out of 10 of the Ice Giants, using the water to drown (if you can drown skeletons) away from Beth, throwing them off Mount Othrys.

"Agh... thanks John" Beth said.

"Hey no prob.."

"AHHHHHHHHH"

A shriek so powerful i could feel myself shaking, from fear of what could have happened, of what i hoped hadn't happen...
But with my luck...

"NO!" I yelled, instantly sprinting towards April's body, laying on the floor surrounded by 15 hellhounds.

My vision turned red instantly, I slashed and stroke and hit and jumped and did everything i could to those damn Hellhounds. 5 minutes later all there was left was monster dust, a stiff Body and a 15 year old surrounded by a red aura of power.

I knelt down and checked April, her skin was pale as snow, her face was burning hot and i could see the bites and burns all over her arms, legs and stomach.

She opened here eyes weakly and turned her head towards me. Trying to talk.

"You... you know... you were my first kiss... and my last..." she said.

"I can still heal you April! I can save you!" I told her, my eyes watering.

"This.. this damage is beyond repair John... don.. don't cry, i'll always be here looking after you..." she said.

"I love you April.. don't go.." i said.

"I... I love you... too..." she said, her beautiful emerald eyes closing, her mouth letting out that final breath.

I stood up, tears in my eyes, anger surging through me and walked straight to the remaining ice giant.

I grabbed him by the neck, all my friends were still fighting the werewolves so they didn't see anything.

"Open.. the damn.. portal... i want to see your master" i told it.

"No way..." the giant said

"I SAID OPEN THE DAMN PORTAL" i yelled, squashing his neck, scaring him so much he didn't dare disobey me, and in a matter if seconds there was a portal next to me.

As soon as i let him go he ran as fast as he could, i couldn't care less.

I knelt down, lifted April's body and said to the air, "Farewell friends, i'll see you if not in this life, in the next one" and i went through the portal, leading who knows where.
