Sitting at a vanity, Madelyn made the final touches to her makeup. Adding highlight to her cheeks, tip of her nose and the inner corner of her eyes to give the glow and shimmer to her look. Her hair was slightly curled at the ends to give a bounce to the volume and she styled her bangs as she usually did by curling them to the sides, giving the perfect curtain bang look. She inhaled a breath and looked at herself through the mirror. Wearing a pink glitter bodysuit with white booty shorts over. She had it custom made for tonight, luckily it was ready in time. Madelyn wasn't nervous to be in front of a crowd she had performed in NXT after all but it was just the fact this is different. This is WWE. A whole new, larger crowd. Would they care enough to want her to open the show? Honestly she was replaying what Seth had said to her earlier. She is here for a reason. Not anyone else, her. This was her time.

Her phone lit up with a notification from Dominik. It made her smile to know he was sitting somewhere in the building thinking about her, enough so that he wanted to send a message. She'd been overthinking earlier but now she realised it's likely because her own stress and the feeling of being overwhelmed due to the situation she was now in. It was the best reason to feel overwhelmed of course but still, it made her overthink practically everything. Including Dom. Learning though that he was having family issues and not issues with her, definitely relieved her thoughts. Though she did hope that things with his family weren't too bad. It was still a topic she was too nervous to bring up to him, just felt too personal for two people who have only kissed once and been on one date.

Dom: Wanna hang?

Madelyn: Sure, I got some time

Dom: Cool

Madelyn put her phone into her bag then into her locker, locking it behind her before she walked out of the locker room to try and find Dominik when suddenly feminine hands concealed her eyes so that she couldn't see a thing.

"Guess who?"

Madelyn's eyes immediately widened as the hands fell and with a sorta embarrassing squeal she turned and immediately hugged the woman.

"ADDISON!"

She practically screamed and held the girl so tightly, maybe too tightly in a hug. Maybe it was dramatic but her eyes began to well with tears. It was just so amazing to have Addison here right now, completely a surprise to her. She thought Addy would just watch from home and text her a good luck but no, she was truly here. Addison had been with Madelyn through practically every important moment in her life except losing her virginity but honestly that was such a bad experience, Addison being there probably would have improved it. They could have laughed about how tragic it was together. Because it truly was tragic. It was in highschool of course with the popular jock guy. He just...he said all the wrong things and it lasted approximately 2 minutes. If Madelyn could take it back she most definitely would have. The sex since the first was all mediocre at best, she had a one night stand at graduation party with a guy she was too drunk to recall. Then once again with Noah. Definitely a regret now. They were just so caught up in the moment it happened. Since then, nothing but Addison always filled up her time with her crazy lifes gossip so Madelyn never really cared. Addison was the more...explicit one between the two. She probably went through like 7 guys just last year. To the point, Madelyn stopped learning their names. Madelyn never had a real relationship and had sex only three times. She was more work oriented.  Aside from that, Addison been there through so much more, they were together first days in school, cheerleading tryouts together, prom together, graduation together and NXT together. Addison always been there for what mattered most and today, that wouldn't change.
