It was nice to spend time with Addison and Dominik, it actually did relax her whilst she awaited her next segment, it was closer to the end of the show so she had like two hours to wait. Dominik had to head off first to do some Judgement Day promos. It gave time for the two girls to catch up alone. They were sitting in the Judgement Day locker room, curtesy of Dominik of course, it was just the two alone. "Noah told me he saw you today." Addison looked at her. "He said you were...a bitch."
Madelyn shook her head and laughed. "God he's such an asshole. Can you ever believe I actually gave him the time of day before?" She couldn't believe his attitude. "He is definitely so jealous."
"You shouted at him, on the streets saying fuck off Mady.." Addison glanced towards her.
"Did he mention why? It's because he accused me of sleeping my way into WWE because of Dominik." Madelyn told her to give the context to what really happened.
Addisons eyes widened. "What?? He said that?" Her tone suggested surprise, like she didn't expect him to be like that but he never was the kindest so Madelyn found her shock weird but maybe it was just the bluntless that caught Addy off guard.
"Yep." Madelyn sighed with annoyance, Noah had really ticked her off and honestly she could have gone the rest of the day without hearing his name. It just was triggering. His whole existence. "I feel bad having left you with him in NXT."
Addison shrugged. "He's not so bad.. I mean he's still Noah but he's been..kinder? I guess is the word, since you left."
Madelyn gave her a look. "Weird."
There was an awkward sort of pause but Addison quickly spoke again to move past that previous topic. "Dominik seems nice..maybe a bit..egotistical? Just slightly but other than that...I think he's good for you." She smiled.
"I think so too." Madelyn agreed with a smile. "We are just taking it slow..you know I think it's better that way."
"We should go out the weekend maybe? You, me, Tiff. A girls night." Addison suggested.
"We should!!" Madelyn instantly agreed liking that idea.
As time passed, she now was stood backstage next to Seth as they watched the Judgment Day argue in the centre of the ring. Madelyn was waiting for her que to enter. She glanced towards Seth. "I'm glad I took your advice and didn't spend the past two hours stressing." Just then she heard Finn start arguing how Rhea let herself get taken down by the new girl, which was Madelyns que to head out. Her music hit and she walked just midway between the gorilla and the ring. All eyes of the Judgement Day was now on her, she caught gaze with Dominik for a brief second but he was locked in character so she turned her gaze to Finn and Rhea. They shot back glares at her but before anyone could say anything, Seths music played and the crowd cheered as he walked out with a mic, coming to Madelyns side. "You know..you can complain all you want Finn but I still won." Seth laughed. "But alright alright I decided to give you another chance to be embarrassed by me." Seth smirked. "Next Monday it's you two verses Madelyn and I." He looked at Finn and Rhea. "Goodluck." Seth laughed and Madelyn confidently smirked looking up at Seth, he looked down at her and his music hit and the tv stream would have cut to ads now but in the arena, the pair walked backstage again.
Immediately she was met by a cheering Addison. "You looked so badass!!" She spoke excitedly.
"Addy I didn't even say anything." Madelyn shook her head with a small giggle.
"And still you slayed." Addison smiled. "I need to get going now but we should plan the girls night. Text me and let Tiff know."
Madelyn pulled Addison in for a hug. "It was nice to have you here Addy." She pulled away after a moment and nodded. "I will text of course." And with that Addison had turned and headed out towards the arena exist. Madelyn watched her best friend leaving with a small smile on her lips.
"Hey thanks for inviting Addy" she caught one the producers as he walked past, feeling she should show her gratitude. Though it confused her when he pulled a look of confusion. "Addison from NXT." Madelyn repeated with more clarity and it dawned on the guy now who she was and he nodded. "Ah yes...well I can't take credit. That was Rollins' idea."
Suddenly, Madelyn paused. What? It was Seths idea? That didn't make sense, why would he go through that sorta trouble to get the producers to text Addison, just for her? The previous assurance she had in that conversation had faded as her mind raced with a sense of confusion at this new information. The confusion must have been obvious as the producer spoke one last time. "He said that he thought it would be nice for you to see a friendly face on an important night for you." And after that the producer had to continue off to where he was headed.
Her eyes glanced around but Seth had walked away after they came back from the ramp. So Madelyn was left to ponder that for a moment, though it wasn't an overly long moment when the loudness of the Judgement Day group hit her ears as they entered back into the arena. Dominik walking right up to her. "I'm hungry wanna grab food before I drop you home?" He asked. Completely unaware of Madelyn's current thoughts.
"Sounds great" She responded to him. She could just bring it up to Seth another time.
