Chapter 10

Lando POV:

Today was the night of the exorcism.

Holy shit...

Reality hit me like a brick this morning. Knowing that this was actually happening later today made me extremely nervous.

I looked to my phone to see that someone had texted me. I clicked on it.

George

Are you doing it?

As in the exorcism?

Yes
I am yes , why?

Its Alex he's the one going getting the exorcism done on.

My heart stops.

All this time it was Alex. I go back thinking what could of caused this. He hasn't gone back to anywhere that was haunted after that house.

Wait the house...

It was from the house. No wonder why he was screaming so much he must of got attached to something.

Which then I guess turned into possession. After all that happened , when he looked normal every time we went out , he wasn't.

That sinister demonic thing was smart enough to do that. Smart enough to stay quiet and wait for the perfect moment.

The question was why now. Was it bored? Guess I'll find out later.

Yes just a bit shocked thats all.

I was the same way , I couldn't believe it...

Will you be there at the exorcism?

No I dont think I would be able to handle
it.

Thats the last thing we texted each other for now. I checked the clock and it read 11:30 am. God time goes by fast. Must of slept late.

I realise I'm still sitting at my desk , books scattered everywhere. Thought I might as well read a bit more of it so I'm more comfortable.

Thought before I did clean up I decided to have some breakfast as my stomach was rumbling to go and eat something.

The time now read 5pm.

I think I went a bit overtime with my studying but I guess it was worth it. Hope to use the most of it tonight.

Then I think..

5 hours.

5 hours to go before I face hell. And I must admit I am scared who wouldn't be .

This demon was clearly quite powerful , it showed it was smart , showed it had the patience to wait to strike.

And tonight it will show who it really is tonight.

And it called for me. I was called out here to help and to end it. So I hope I can , but I don't believe it.

Never in my life would I think about doing an exorcism or anything like that.

I organise the books in-front of me so thats its tidy to what to makes me pleased. Then I realise I hadn't heard of Carlos since this morning.

Normally I would be able to have a sense of what he might be doing. But no. There was nothing.

I don't know whether I should be concerned or not but he might just want some privacy. So I leave it. I have more important things to think about for now.

Once I was done it was 6pm.

4 hours to go

I then ate lunch and once I was done it was 6:30.

3 hours and 30 mins left.

Holy shit! When did time go so fucking fast.

I swear it was like 5pm not that long ago... Time was really going against me today.

I could feel my phone vibrating and a message had popped up on my screen.

It was by Father Lewis.

Good luck Lando.

Loved the luck I was getting today. Hope it was going to be by my side tonight though.

However I never have heard of where the address was. It didn't sound like it was from this town as I probably would've known.

I go to the app , maps , on my phone and type down the address. It was 2 hours aways.

Great just time taking away the luxury of me being safe in my apartment...

I zoomed in on it and from what it looked like it was just some house in the middle of nowhere.

I guess this demon must very fucking strong or something to be kept that far from the public. And then I think of Alex.

What he must be going through must be terrible. If i was him I probably would be dead. But for now all I want is to make sure he'll be safe.

I should probably be there an hour earlier just to maybe meet everyone and prepare myself a bit more just to know what were dealing with.

So I grab my keys and wait till the time turns 7pm.

Then I get in the car and drive...

Hey guys sorry for the late update 😭
I was busy with some studies and I also went on holiday and I still am!! I'm currently in the Philippines visiting family for over a week now and I am going Singapore next week!! I'm so excited its literally on my bucket list of places to visit 🤭🤭

Also Formula One is back!!! Finally a race this weekend. Not sure how I'm going to watch it tho....

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter although its a but shorter than usual 😓
The next chapter might come out in 2 weeks I'll try my best!!
