"GET BACK HERE DEKU!" The sound of a raging blonde chasing after a dashing Izuku Yagi is heard in the forest.

After accidentally bumping into one of his former friends Shoka, making her spill her drink on herself, Izuku immediately started running as fast he could, not wanting to give his tormentors a chance to process what happened with him still there. Once they realized what happened, they began chasing their 'punching bag' to teach him a lesson.

"Come on dear brother! Stop running now and we'll make sure it doesn't hurt!" Izumi lied, thinking it would cause him to stop, but he continued to run for dear life.

'Gotta hide, gotta hide, gotta hide, gotta hide!' Izuku panics, looking for somewhere to hide from his tormentors. He sees a bush, big enough to hide in without being poked by something. Without a second to waste, he jumped into the bush and peeked out through the hole.

The tormentors came to a skidding stop and looked around, hoping to find their friend(?), but they couldn't see him anywhere. Irritated, Katsumi sighed heavily. "Where the hell did that scrawny Deku go to?" She asked.

"Seems like he got away, we'll find him when he comes back home, then we'll teach that useless nerd a lesson. Come on, I heard that it's gonna rain soon, let's get going." Katsuki says the rest of them nod as they start making their way back.

Izuku sighed as he walked out of the bush, he managed to escape them, but now he was in a dilemma. If he goes home, he has to put up with his tormentors and even his so-called parents. But if he stays out here, he'll probably get soaked in the rain. Was he going to sit out in the rain just to avoid seeing the face and the possible beating from people he called his friends and family?

He sighed, unsure of what he should do, but while looking around, he turned and looked down an eerie path to see something far in the distance, a damaged mansion covered by a few trees, few of the windows were boarded up while others were just dirty, shattered, or fully broken.

He stared at the house for a little before deciding just to head home and deal with his usual suffering, but a drop of rain plopped on his head, he looked up and saw dark grey clouds already starting to form.

'Ah, fantastic.' Izuku deadpanned at the sky before turning to the damaged house, Well, it's not like his parents bothered caring if he rested in a possible haunted mansion for one night. So, without a spare thought, Izuku ran to the damaged mansion, opened the creaky door, and entered before the rain got worse.

The inside was pretty much like a haunted mansion in a sense, with cobwebs here and there, dusty furniture and walls, and open rooms with little to no lighting. Izuku looked to his right and spotted a light switch turned off. He already had a feeling that there was zero electricity in here but decided to flip it to see if anything would happen.

*FLIP!*

A few seconds go by, and nothing happens. Izuku sighed at the expected outcome and walked towards one of the dirty couches, but not before hearing a few sounds, surprisingly, a row of lights started flickering until fully turning on, surprising Izuku. But, he wasn't going to question how the lights were working, he just wanted to lie down after an eventful day.

Izuku headed toward one of the couches and dusted it off, after a bit, he laid down and turned over to one of the windows. Despite it being hard to see through because of the dust, he saw the rain pouring harder. Now relieved that he decided to rest in the mansion for now until he goes back to the massive migraine of his so-called life...

"Well, at least this time I sleep on actual furniture instead of the hard floor..." Izuku joked to himself as he chuckled sadly. The sound of the rain calmed his worries of tomorrow as he just focused on resting today. His eyes drifted as he fell into dreamland, now with zero discomfort.
