German Radio Awards
(Taylor's Perspective)
"How has radio changed your life?" A interviewer asked.
"Radio has changed my life in every single way because it's an ability for you to have people all over the world hear your music where you've never been before. Cities you've never been before where they can hear your music. And you get to play shows there and they know all of the words to the song already. So radio is one of the most amazing ways to communicate with people all over the world." I said.
"Do you remember your first time you heard your own song on the radio?" The interviewer asked.
"I do. I was sixteen. I was driving around Nashville and I heard my song come on the radio and I was so excited I almost got into a wreck. I was so excited." I said.
"We are looking forward to your show tonight. What will you perform for us?" The interviewer asked.
"I'm gonna sing my song Shake It Off. It's a brand new song and um I'm really excited to play it tonight. I can't wait. I think Ive only played this song live so far this year other than the VMA's." I said.
"Have you ever been in Germany before?" The interviewer asked.
"Yes I have. We played there on the Red tour." I said.
"And do you know some German words?" The interviewer asked again.
I said all of the words I know in German.
(AN: I don't know German sorry. Lol sorry, American here.)
"Can you say I love German Radio?" The interviewer said it in her language.
I repeated what she said and laughed.
We go inside the building and get ready for my performance.
(Elizabeth's Perspective)
Germany is so cool! I've been eating all kinds of German food and snacks and candy. The fans gave so much candy to eat on the plane ride back home.
Taylor left to get ready for her performance and I'm in my seat front row for it. I try to make friendly small talk to the people next to me and some of the seat fillers. Luckily the seat fillers talked to me even though they are not allowed to but they did anyway because they quickly knew I was an American and probably figured out I can't speak German.
They announced Taylor on stage and Shake It Off begins to play. Taylor finished her performance and the audience cheers.
We leave the award show and wave to the fans waiting outside goodbye. We got into a car to the airport to fly back to America.
