The door opened and Gavi walked in holding two jerseys. He tossed them both at me. Both of them landing on my face.
"Hey." I said pulling them of my face.
"I brought you the home kit and the away one. You can keep them." He says, sitting down on the bed.
"How kind." I toss the away to the side and lay the home one in front of me. I turn it around. Gavi, 6 on the back.
"Because you like me more I had to give you it with me on the back." He says in a matter of fact voice.
"Right, of course." I pull the jersey on top of my crop top. "Won't your fan girls be bothered about it. I've already had a few comments about it."
"I mean yeah, but they don't know you that well so it should be ok." He says, standing up.
"Yeah, you're right." I say, "Ok leave I need to get ready."
"You have four hours though?" He says.
"Yeah well better early than never." I say, digging through my bag to find my make up bag.
"That's not how the saying goes." He says, crossing his arms over his chest. "Better late than never. Not early."
"Eh same thing." I say, looking back up at him. "Now go."
He holds his hands up in defeats and walks out the room, shutting the door softly behind him.
