what might be hiding in plain sight is always covered up with blind trust
"is the sky clear enough to return back to the palace" the Queen asked as she stood up and the Coachman nodded and they had thanked the owner before leaving the inn, the weather had been pleasant to see after the rain making the prince giddy as they headed back the carriage and the prince was thankful for the letter as the scowl on his mother's face towards him had lessened but then they had an extra joining them in the carriage making the prince excited and nervous at the same time, and they were on their way back to the palace,
meanwhile the extra they had brought with them was beyond agitated, his palms sweaty and his thoughts had gone beyond him making unwanted tears to steam out of his eyes, he had not cried in a long time, fear creeping in was an understatement to the feelings the messager had.
The carriage had finally reached its destination and once again the Queen needed to be pulled out and atfter her strtuggtles she evettutallty got out and she marched through all the greetings not even answering one while following behind her was her son bowing and giving apologies to those she ignored and eventually the Queen called out after calming down
"Sebastian" and within seconds a middle aged man entered the chamber of the Queen bowing as he reached her "yes your majesty" he said as he bowed
"rise" the Queen said as he lifted his head cautiosly knowing the anger of the Queen that day as it was visible to even to the blind "I need the report on the king how is he doing"
she said as her facade slipped her face becoming soft as genuine expression of worry "don't you worry Your Majesty, His Majesty is safe and protected don't worry he'll be back in time"
Sebastian said as he also felt pity for the Queen and her Son "okay but how are the preparations going" the Queen said and once again Sebastian nodded they are going alright and the prince will have to undergo intensive tranings if that is okay by you" Sebastian suggested and the Queen nodded
"okay but for the training he'll undergo I want it to be for a year and away from the palace that can be arranged can't it" the Queen said in a daring and threatening tone making Sebastian feel pressure and tension
"yes your majesty just say when he'll be leaving" he said and the Queen looked up thinking and after sometime she snapped her fingers making Sebastian jump
"the training starts from next week, I want him to be prepared as fast as possible" the Queen said and Sebastian nodded as he bowed and left, left the Queen with her thought of her son,
'he has to know before it's too late' the voice said 'but he'll hate me forever' 'let him know, it's better than him finding out later'
the week had ended and the unsuspecting boy had just been called out by his mother, he had been pulled out of his study session
"son I have something to tell you" his mother said in a soft tone which surprised him because it was unusual for his mother to use that one because even when trying to settle disputes her voice had always been commanding which led him to curiously ask "mother is everything alright"
he said expecting the scowl but he never got one but instead he got a sweet response
"son stop being silly and have a seat" she said mentioning him to the chair beside her
"now as I said before I have something to tell you, it's about your training and there are somethings i need to tell you about it"
and soon as he heard the word training his eyes widend but his mother wasn't done yet "you will be confined in a remote location even I have no idea of where the place is but I trust Sebastian, you will be there for two years and before you leave I want to say that I love you son"
she said hugging the confused boy and crying in the process, he had never seen his mother this emotional and he wasn't planning on seeing it anytime soon, after he had been released from his mother's grip he could ask his question
"mother when am I leaving" he asked his face stotic and confused in his mother's every move and expression
"oh I almost forgot you're leaving today" she ended her sentence with an akward laugh and the fury in her son's eyes making her smile slowly droop as her son stood up and slowly walked up to her knowing he couldn't do anything made him frustrated even the more
"mother how would you do such a thing without my permission, I am your own son mother i-" his words were choked by the tears coming out of his eyes as he tried to fight them cleaning his face roughly and the actions of her son touched her deeply as she reached out holding his hands stopping him from causing damage to his face as he looked at her with teary eyes
"son I'm sorry but I had to make the decision, your father is in a state where we don't know what to expect I'm so sorry" she said and the boy nodded understanding his mother's plight "okay mother I'm sorry for reacting that way"
and after the reconciliation the prince found himself at the entrance of the kingdom getting ready to leave, and soon enough he had entered into he carriage and he waved his last goodbye as the carriage had taken off
"son, I love you" she whispered with all the love she had in her heart she knew he wasn't going to hear her words but she knew he left with no regrets.
