Disclaimer: I don't in any way own Law & Order: SVU. There are some lines being used that are directly from the episode, again, I don't own those.  I'm just a girl who likes watching and writing about it. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy! If you have any suggestions, leave them in the reviews of PM me! Also, this is just my own personal spin of 'Forgiving Rollins', so there may be some spoilers used so be CAUTIOUS.

Amanda already knew that this was about to be the longest night of her entire life.

As she sat in the crowd listening to Patton go on and on about integrity and bravery. What the hell did he know about any of those things? He sure wasn't anything close to being a good person.

The seemingly never ending conference had elapsed into a cocktail evening, which Rollins was dreading. Although, it gave her an opportunity to abuse the open bar, which she was in dire need of.

She sipped her cocktail in silent bliss as Nick, Olivia and Fin headed over to her. Not, that she didn't want to see them, she just didn't want them to pry on her gloomy attitude.

"Well," Olivia began, looking at Amanda, "That Patton sure likes to take a lot of credit for himself, doesn't he?" She questioned, now more to the table.

"He practically made it sound like he solved the pattern 17 case." Fin agreed, shaking his head.

"Guy seems like he's gotta big head or somethin." Nick shrugged, "What was he like, Rollins?"

"Hm?" Amanda asked, blinking a few times to snap out of her daze, "Oh, um he was about the same." She responded, taking another sip of her drink. It slid down her throat so easily, helping her along as she thought of the correct way to answer some of these questions.

But, in an instant, her comfort was lost when she noticed Patton and some other blonde colleague of his approaching them. She mentally rolled her eyes and tried to prepare herself for the preceding uncomfortable conversation that was to be under way.

"Sergeant, beautiful city you have here." He greeted Olivia, smugly, "Even when it isn't."

"Yeah, that's true." Olivia agreed, politely.

"Speaking of beautiful, Amanda, it's nice to see you." He gestured towards her, which made her skin crawl, "Broke my heart to let this one go, y'all have a winner with her." He smiled

"Believe me, we know." Olivia said.

"Oh where are my manners?" Patton laughed to himself, "This is Detective Reese Taymor," He introduced the young blonde beside him, "this is her first conference." He whispered behind his hand, pretty loudly, although Reese could clearly hear him.

"Welcome." Olivia greeted. They went on for a bit, Reece talking about what she had liked so far about the conference, Olivia thanking her and Patton, being his usual self, and discouraging everything Reese had to say.

"Well it was nice to meet, y'all." Patton said, "Catch you on the flip, Amanda." He  winked at her.

"See ya." Fin said.

"Sam Reynolds, Rollins' old captain, wants us to join APD at Moran's." Nick announced to the group, "You guys in?"

"I can't." Fin shook his head, "I mean i could, I just don't want to."

"I have to go home, too." Liv agreed.

"So, just you and me then, Rollins?" Nick asked her, with a smile.

"I think i'm gonna have to sit this one out, Nick." She responded, shaking her head, "I'm not good, hanging around the good 'ol boys, anymore."

"Oh, what?" Nick questioned, "You're just gonna make me go alone?"

"No ones making you." She shrugged as she slipped from the room.
