Lexi's voice barely broke the silence. "Julian, I have my own demons too."
Julian's gaze turned attentive. "What's going on, Lexi?"
Lexi took a deep breath. "Tiffany and her crew... they've been bullying me for years. It's relentless."
Julian's expression darkened. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Shame, fear... I don't know," Lexi admitted. "But being around you makes me feel seen, heard."
Julian's fingers intertwined with hers, a gentle squeeze. "You're not alone, Lexi. I'm here."
*Tiffany discovers their secret meeting spot*
Just as Lexi felt a sense of security, headlights illuminated the darkness. A car pulled up, and Tiffany stepped out, her eyes narrowing.
"Looks like the lovebirds are getting cozy," Tiffany sneered, snapping photos with her phone.
Julian stood, shielding Lexi. "Leave us alone, Tiffany."
Tiffany smirked. "This will make great gossip. The school's favorite couple, hanging out in secret."
Lexi's anxiety spiked, but Julian's calm demeanor reassured her.

As Tiffany drove away, Lexi's nerves still rattled. Julian turned to her, his eyes soft.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
Lexi nodded, her heart racing. Julian's face drew closer, his lips brushing against hers in a gentle kiss.
Time froze. Stars twinkled above, and the world melted away.
"Julian," Lexi whispered, her lips still touching his.
"Lexi," he replied, his voice filled with emotion.
Their lips met again, deeper this time, as if the universe had conspired to bring them together.
