Sick day ( REMAKE )

Description: basically nana/kc sick and Zane takes care of her, this is remake of sick day pt 1/2 cuz let's be honest that one was rushed/sucked so enjoy <33 )

It was sunny/warm morning in mystreet, nana had woken up very early so she could make everything ready before Zane came, today nana and Zane were gonna hangout and have like a date, not really more like Zane was gonna come over and they were gonna relax

Nana wanted to wake up extra early so she could clean up her room, since it was really messy and she also wanted to make some sweets for Zane ( since we know Zane loves his sweets, especially from nana <3 )

Nana's POV  :

I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, cleansing my face, I changed into a T-shirt and some shorts, I walked over and started making my bed

I took my laundry basket and walked over to laundry room and placed it into the washer, after I walked back to my room and started cleaning my room

( 20 minutes later )

" okay! I'm finally done cleaning my room, time to make some sweets ! " nana yelled happily, ( u may wonder where Kathlyn is, she's at Travis place that's why the house is empty ) nana walked over to the kitchen and got out all the ingredients she needed

" hm I think I'm gonna make some cupcakes and perhaps some cookies " nana thought to herself, nana was gonna make strawberry cupcake and some chocolate cookies

( time skip )

Nana had made all the sweets which took around almost an hour " oh the times still 7:15, i still have time until Zane comes over "

" maybe I can set up everything before zane comes, I want everything to be perfect "

Nana walked over to her bedroom and got out some blankets and pillows and placed them on the couch, she still had time since Zane was gonna come later but she just wanted to finish everything

" maybe I should make some more food? I just made cupcakes and co-ACHO " nana started coughing and sneezing like crazy, " i-I don't feel so good.. " nana thought to herself

Nana placed her hand on forehead and she was burning up, " I think I'm sick.. but it doesn't matter cuz me and Zane are gonna hang out today and I'm not gonna let this little cough and sneeze ruin it "

Nana walked over and layed down on her bed " perhaps I could take a nap for a bit I'm feeling tired " few minutes later nana was fast asleep

Zane POV :

Zane alarm started buzzing, Zane sighed turning it off as he got up, he then realized today he and nana were gonna hangout and he smiled, he got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom, he brushed his teeth and washed his face and changed out of his pajamas

Zane walked down the stairs and saw larrunce and Garroth arguing about who's the better cookie, Zane rolled his eyes and sat down and ate the pancakes that were made

" im the better cook " larrunce said, " no I AM! " Garroth yelled, Zane sighed as he finished his breakfast, " im gonna go outside " Zane said as Garroth  and larrunce continued fighting

Zane walked out of the front door and grabbed his phone from his pocket and unlocked it " maybe I can see what nana's up to "

Nanas POV :

Nana was on her phone scrolling through TikTok's, as she sighed " mhm.. " nana groaned suddenly she was getting a call

" hey Zane.. " nana said trying to act like she wasn't sick and dieing from coughing and sneezing like crazy, " hey love, are you okay? Your voice seems a bit weird " Zane asked

" sh1t he's gonna find out I'm sick " nana thought, she had to make up a lie, she didn't want to ruin their alone time, they've planned for this day for while, since they both been busy

" I'm fine Zane.. " nana said " alright if you say so, anyways do you think I can come over a bit early? Garroth and larrunce are being annoying " Zane asked

" s-sure " nana said, " alright I see you in few minutes bye Nana " Zane said, " bye Zane ! " nana said as she hanged up the call

( few minutes later )

Zane's POV :

I walked over to Nana's and Kathlyns house and I rang the doorbell, I waited for bit and nobody answered, the door was opened so I decided to walk inside

I closed the door and locked it and walked up the stairs and I knocked on Kc door since it was closed " nana, can I come in? " Zane asked, " mhm.. "

Zane opened the door and walked inside to see nana laying on her bed, technically she was curled up into a ball In her bed

Zane walked over and sat on the corner of her bed, he looked at her concerned

" babe are you sure your alright? Your burning up " Zane said touching nanas forehead, " I'm fi- ACHOO nana sneezed, Zane grabbed a napkin and handed it to nana

" thanks " nana said blowing her nose,

" zane? "

" yes nana? "

" if you want you can go back home I-I'm sorry for ruining your off day today, today was supposed to be perfect " nana said looking down

" nana.. " Zane said lifting up her chin making her look at him " it's not your fault it's okay, and it's still a perfect day and plus as long as I'm here with you I'm okay "

" anyways I'm going to go and check ur fever " Zane said quickly getting up from the bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen, Zane came back with the temperature

" open your mouth " Zane said as nana opened her mouth and Zane slid the thermometer, after a few moments later it started beeping meaning it was done

" nana, no wonder why your burning up your temperature is 101.4 that's not good " zane said concerned

" it's fine zane I be.. alright " nana said trying to give him reassuring smile, which didn't work,

" you stay here love I'm gonna go make you some soup " Zane said before walking out of her bedroom down the stair

Nana nodded her head as she waited for Zane to come back

After few minutes later Zane had came back with the soap

" alright here your soup "  Zane said giving her a tray with some soup and water, nana carefully got up and sat on her bed

" thank you Zane.. " nana said

Zane smiled under his mask " of course nana.. " Zane said moving closer to nana as he wrapping his arm around her

Nana finished eating her soup, zane had done the dishes and made sure to check up on nana once in a while to see if she's okay

Zane walked over to nana and touched her forehead " your feeling a bit less hot then before but still hot, you should take a shower nana " zane said looking down at her

Nana groaned " mhm.. I don't want to.. " nana said, " alright nana " zane said " I guess I'll have to shower you " zane gently picked up nana bridal style and took her into the bathroom

Zane placed her into the bathtub and started washing her, he tried not to stare at her but it was kinda hard not to, he tried his best washing her

Zane and nana were laying down on bed, zane had his arm wrapped around her and he unclipped his mask and gently put it on her, nana formed a small smile on her face

Zane gently kissed her forehead and the couple eventually fall asleep
