Leia wasn't sure where she was.

All around her, there was nothing but darkness—an abyss devoid of any semblance of light or hope. The air was thick with an eerie silence, broken only by the faint sound of her own rapid breaths. She ran, her feet pounding against the cold, unforgiving ground, but it felt as if she was trapped, unable to escape the suffocating grip of the void.

Whispers began to echo through the oppressive darkness, whispering voices that seemed to slither through the very fabric of her being. They were hushed and indistinct, their words dancing on the edge of comprehension. A shiver crawled up Leia's spine, her senses alert to the unsettling presence that enveloped her.

As she continued to sprint through the desolate forest, the whispers grew louder, their distorted cacophony seeping into her consciousness. The once-familiar world around her became distorted, twisted, and distorted, as if reality itself was unraveling before her eyes. Shadows twisted and elongated, taking on monstrous forms that seemed to leer and taunt her from the darkness.

Leia's heart raced, her breath ragged as she pushed herself forward. The forest seemed to stretch endlessly, each step carrying her deeper into a labyrinth of nightmares. Panic gripped her, its icy fingers tightening around her throat. She desperately searched for an escape, a glimmer of light to guide her out of this haunting nightmare.

Finally, she reached an opening in the forest—an ominous clearing bathed in an eerie glow. A dark, gnarled tree stood at its center, its branches contorted into grotesque shapes. It beckoned to her, whispering promises of answers and revelations, drawing her closer against her better judgment.

But before she could approach the twisted tree, a sudden burst of blinding neon light erupted, consuming the darkness and the twisted scene. The brilliance was overwhelming, flooding her vision and casting the horrors of the nightmare into oblivion. It was a stark contrast, the clash of darkness and light, evoking a sense of both relief and uncertainty.

Leia's lips parted, her throat constricting with a desperate need to scream, but no sound emerged. The weight of silence pressed upon her, suffocating and stifling, as if her voice had been stolen by the very essence of the blinding light that enveloped her. Panic surged through her veins, her mind racing to comprehend the inexplicable shift that had occurred.

As the brilliance consumed everything around her, the nightmare began to dissolve, giving way to a slow and gradual transition into a new reality. The dream's tendrils loosened their grip, relinquishing their hold on Leia's consciousness as the blinding light gradually receded.

Through the fading illumination, Leia's vision adjusted, revealing two faint outlines standing before her. Their presence, once hazy and indistinct, solidified into tangible forms. She strained to make out their features, her eyes squinting in an attempt to bring clarity to the figures that materialized before her. However, her attempt ended in vain.

Leia struggled to move, only to find herself immobilized. Her limbs felt heavy and unresponsive, as if shackled by invisible restraints. Panic started to course through her as her memories came back to her, pieces by pieces. The last thing she remembered was running from her pursuers inside the raging storm, and being cornered by them. And then... and then what happened? She tried to remember, but her memory was hazy. One thing was for sure, this place was not the beach. And she wasn't really sure how he got here.
