Izuku pov
Me and mina are sitting on her bed ,which has so many stuffed animals on it you sink if you stay in one spot long enough.(Honestly that's like my bed)
I tilt my head back , listening to the music that is silently playing from the small green speaker in the corner of the room, I smile slightly when the heavy guitar solo starts
"...I wonder if I could play this song " I say under my breath
"hey zuku, what color do you want?" Min asks excitedly taking me out of my trance
She bends over grabbing her nail polish box from underneath her bed.
the nail polish box has a very interesting physique, it is a medium wooden box that is splattered with variations of pinks purples and greens, the box is also covered with band stickers that look like they went through literal hell before just being slapped onto the tough wooden surface.
Once she's opened the box she puts it in front of me. I scan the colors until I find forest green and plain black, once Iv decided on those two colors I gently take them out and excitedly show them to mina.
"oh my God zu those colors will look great" I giggle softly while holding the black to the light,all I can see is pure darkness the black completely cancels the bright pink light in the center of Mina's room.
it's honestly really nice to have mina ,hitoshi and shoto they have put up with all the things, they are a place I feel genuinely safe and taken care of, they are my best friends and there is nothing that can separate us.
when I lost my mother a few years back I was heartbroken and when rei found out her passing the abusing got worse, there where multiple ER visits because I would show up at Mina's house unexpectedly after a fight and even though I have never told anyone except mina that rei is abusive before or that I self harm I know that they would believe me if I did.
so after hitoshi and shoto get here in am going to be honest and tell them about the last four years
