This may sound weird
This may sound odd
But the sound of this storm
Just makes thoughts rock.
It reminds me of us
And how we are
With the light and the rain
And the distant rumble in the wind
The light and rain
Are the peaceful times
The moments we share
During the good times.
The rumble and wind
Are the little disagreements
The little irritations
During the bad times
Although when put together
It's a sound like no other
A relationship that covers
Everything but love.
The love is in the air
It's in the sound
It's in the water
And in the clouds
It's the whole thing together
That makes it one
It's the love we have together
That makes everything fun.
