A laugh left my lips, not long after a soft chuckle came from my stranger.
You know when your struck with déjà vu? Well that definitely wasn't the case, nobody could forget somebody who looked like this. He was drop dead gorgeous, the kind that makes people stop and stare for a while.
I could fully understand why the poor brunette didn't want to leave him alone.
If I found someone that looked remotely anything like him I would stalk them to.
His lips were moving. He even made speaking look sexy, he flashed me a smirk that was straight from hell. It looked like it came from the same place naughty thoughts, about what happens behind closed doors, came from.
My heart skipped a beat when his eyes focused on me.
"... Dinner tomorrow night?" He looked at me.
Honestly I hadn't been listening to most of the conversation and I hoped I didn't look stupid just staring at him.
This time his smile widened when I nodded not really sure what I was nodding to. If the previous smile was dangerous this one was out for people's lives, it knocked the air right out of my lungs.
If only Liv could see me right now, she'd have a heart attack from my lack of flirting abilities. The irony, here I was in a staff closet with a man that could literally make panties drop and I wouldn't be able to tell her, well not tonight anyway.
The thought did a lot to sober me up, Liv gave me this shift to help me out this week. It was stupid wasting time while I was at work. I could lose this job.
"I have to get back to work," his smile dropped a few notches. "but it was nice meeting you..." I stopped when I realised I didn't know his name. "Gabriel."
"Right, it was nice meeting you Gabriel." I side stepped him and walked towards the door.
A little excitement to start the night off, maybe this won't be such a long night after all.
I softly pulled the door closed behind me, straightening up my loose white work top I let a laugh out into the quiet hallway. She really didn't understand back off.
"Listen Caitlin," before she could get far I interrupted. "It's Katalina."
She looked down at me for a second before continuing like I hadn't even spoken. "Caitlin, I don't care if your name was Beyoncé your messing with something that's bigger then you. I'm warn..."
"Look barbie," I don't have the patience to put this bitch down a few levels tonight. "I don't have time for this, ok? You want him? have him, I don't even know who he is."
Her mouth opened in shock. Shit, she really has this gold fish look down.
"But...you? Weren't you just with him?" She looked so confused I almost felt bad for laughing. "you said... And he said!"
I gave her a shrug "What can I say, I was helping out a stranger." I smiled at her and went back down the hall way.
My boss would fire me if he found out I was interacting with his profit.
The sexist pig.
The club was a pompous place that rich people had meals.
Because having personal chefs at home was such a hassle that they have to come here for meals
The centre was the 'It' place for the rich to interact with each other. The other rooms were hired out to socialites to organise and hold parties, it was a great place to get a job but it was hard with so many people applying.
