𝗖'𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗔 𝗩𝗜𝗘 ━━ 𝖩𝖴𝖩𝖴𝖳𝖲𝖴 𝖪𝖠𝖨𝖲𝖤𝖭 𝖵𝖠𝖱𝖨𝖮𝖴𝖲 !

I. 𝖠𝖳 𝖳𝖧𝖤 𝖶𝖱0𝖭𝖦 𝖯𝖫𝖠𝖢𝖤 𝖠𝖳 𝖳𝖧𝖤 𝖱𝗂𝖦𝖧𝖳 𝖳𝗂𝖬𝖤

I. 𝖠𝖳 𝖳𝖧𝖤 𝖶𝖱0𝖭𝖦 𝖯𝖫𝖠𝖢𝖤 𝖠𝖳 𝖳𝖧𝖤 𝖱𝗂𝖦𝖧𝖳 𝖳𝗂𝖬𝖤

                 — ISHIKAWA HIKARI WAS NOT SOMEONE special, she never was really, all her life, she was considered to be someone 'average' someone who was not worthy of a second glance and hikari was content with it, she was content with her mundane, plain life and even stuck to a routine she created, so, now, why was she here?

as previously established, hikari was as much as a person who you'd see on the road and wouldn't bother to even know her name, she was a normal, average human, but now, the current predicament at hand seemed to go against all of hikari's morals, beliefs and everything she has ever believed in.

you see, hikari didn't particularly excel in anything in her school, be it studies or extracurricular activities, she never really bothered to excel in any of them either, but she had a knack for video games, especially for the 'otome' or 'dating sim' or a 'choose your romance' type of games, having been a very serious hopeless romantic, when hikari was introduced to the world of 'otome' games she was in heaven.

the girl had probably played all of the otome games there was, you name it and she would've played it, she was crazy about them.

so when news came out that her favourite otome game developer had a new game coming out, hikari couldn't contain her excitement and went as far as to skip school in order to play it as soon as possible. There was no one in her house at that time, setting a ramen cup in the oven, she hummed, smiling, "hm, i'll be right back to get you!" with a grin, she practically skipped to her room.

she sat on the pink coloured chair infront of her computer, grinning from ear-to-ear, "ah! when will it be coming out?" she thought out loud to herself and couldn't stop smiling.

but one rookie mistake that she did was to not check her oven and just as hikari's finger went onto to click on the 'play' option, her computer bursted right infront of her face, not just her computer, her entire house was shattered into pieces due to a technical glitch.

okay, yeah, shit happened and hikari was sure she was dead, probably already set in her grave or something, but to her absolute surprise, as soon as hikari's blue tinted eyes flew open, a surprised gasp left her and soon she was gasping for air, having a full-blown panic attack of sorts, hikari's hand flew to her chest and she clutched her pajama shirt as she struggled to breath, finding it really hard to focus on her surroundings as well, she panted heavily, forcing her brain to remember all of the steps to stop a panic attack, she closed her eyes shut, tears escaping her eyes but finally, finally, she regained her control of her brain and quickly started to focus on her surroundings, slowly, but surely coming out of her dazed state.

hikari sighed, running her hands through her hair and as such, a strand of her pale blonde hair fell over her eyes which caused hikari's brows to shoot up, because as far as hikari was aware, her hair was not definitely not pale blonde, her hair was brown coloured, but what was this? she frowned, doing a quick work of pulling a bunch of her hair front and inspected it with sharp eyes, "wah! what kind of black magic -!" she was unable to continue due to her gaze meeting with the mirror by the side, her breath hitching as she took in the girl sitting on the bed's appearance.

after awhile, she soon broke out of her daze, furrowing her brows and tilted her head in surprise when the girl on the mirror seemed to replicate her actions, pouting slightly, hikari slowly stepped onto the hardwood floor in this bizarre room she was in and slowly made her way towards the mirror, taking in how the girl on the other side seemed to be literally mirroring her actions.

She frowned, standing infront of her mirror, "hey!" she yelled, pointing a finger towards the mirror only to see the pale blonde on the other side doing the exact same thing, she let out a loud whine, stomping her foot to the ground with an expression akin to that of a kid who was denied a chocolate, "stop playing around, you creep on the other side!" she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest in annoyance, "you buffoon! stop doing what i do!!" she whined, jumping up and down on the ground, frowning hard.

"stop copying meeee!!" she whined more, huffing comically, "you're -" her words got cut off due to the door to her room being slammed open by another blonde-haired beauty, "will you shut up, already?!" the other blonde quired, rolling her eyes, "it's just six am! why are you even shouting?!" the blonde slightly yelled, inviting herself into hikari's room who was gaping at her as if she was a ghost which caused the blonde to frown, "why are you looking at me like that?" the blonde questioned, frowning in confusion.

"you look like . ." hikari raked her mind for the person who the blonde infront of her reminded her of, immediately brightening up once she remembered the name, "you look like himari kitagawa!" hikari exclaimed, pointing a finger towards the other person in the room who looked at hikari as if she had grown another head, "what's up with you today, hikari?"

hikari retaliated, squinting her eyes towards the other blonde, "how do you know my name? and who are you, first of all?" she cocked a brow, staring down the other girl suspiciously.

the blonde just sighed, "you've been playing those dumb games again, haven't you?" she ran a hand through her silky hair, huffing, "i am indeed himari kitagawa and for your information, i am your older sister." himari explained plainly.

"huh?!" hikari exclaimed, "wait, this -" she paused to look at her appearance in the mirror before turning to face the other person, "is my name, by any chance, hikari kitagawa?" she quizzed in a skeptical manner.

himari frowned, sighing exasperatedly before replying, "i really need to ask mum to take you to a nice doctor to treat your undiagnosed amnesia, you are obviously hikari kitagawa, you idiot."

himari then went on another dose of scolding but all hikari could think was . . .

'oh shit . . . '
