Hold my hand and let me burn in your love.

To every gaze and touch, pull me to edge.

Hug me and pull me in your warmth.

The sound of door closing made her heart skipped a beat as Jimin stood by the door looking at her while she kept her back to him.

Y/N looked around the room and this time, it felt like a new world to her maybe because she had come to accept with her heart. When her gaze met to his reflection in the window, it made her nervous.

He walked to her and with each step he took she felt blood rushed to her cheeks. When he stood behind her, she tried to avert her gaze from him but he didn't let her as he wrapped his arm with the bandaged hand around her shoulder, pulling her into his chest.

He wrapped his other free arm around her waist as he rested his head on her shoulder. She stared at him through the window trying to understand his behavior.

As a few minutes passed and he didn't move, worry took over her features when she held his arms and turned around in his arms.

Jimin looked up at her, his eyes brimming with unsaid emotions. It was like he had been holding all those emotions and feelings to him for so long that it feels heavy on his shoulders to hold them. He took her hand and made her sit on the bottom of the bed as he sat on the floor in front of before placing his head on her lap.

She froze up as she realized their position because they had never been in such situation while he stayed comfortably. She looked down at his head in her lap as she moved her hand to touch his hair but stopped thinking of whether she should do or not. But it the end, she started caressing his hair.

They stayed in the same position, him taking in her affection and her giving him the comfort.

"The last time someone caressed me was my mother." His words made her stopped her movements for a few seconds before she resumed them.

She looked down at him as she patiently waited for him to say what he wanted to. Maybe he never had someone to share his pain with.

"It was twenty one years ago... I was eight back then... The feeling was so overwhelming for an eight year boy who was abandoned by his real parents."

Y/N stopped caressing his hair as her eyes widened while heart felt pain knowing about his life. Jimin opened his eyes at her lost touch before raising his head and looking up at her with sadness in his eyes and a small smile.

"I was an orphan. I got my surname from my adoptive parents." He said, forwarding his hand and taking her in his own as her gaze went to their hands.

"How they... I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked you this." She lower her gaze as he shaked his head and placed a kiss on her knuckles making her look at him.

"Don't be. They found me in a basket crying near the village entrance. They brought me in their house, gave me food and shelter when they were hardly meeting the ends... As days passed by, the small factory where dad worked was shut down and we were left with no money and food. I was eight when I tried to steal the bread from the shop because I was so hungry."

He chuckled and looked down while Y/N eyes turned teary hearing about his past and learning about his childhood. His life was not easy on him and it made her sad.

"The villagers gave me warning but I didn't listen when all I wanted to get some food for me and my parents. I tried to beg the villagers but no one heard and one night, I stole the gold chain from jeweler shop and was caught... Word got out and my parents tried to save me when the villagers were throwing stone at me. The blamed my parents that they were the one coaxing me to steal. They beat them to death and left them in the pool of blood while I cried for help."
