21. HEARTS

Aena look at Mahir as their eyes met, "what happened janan" his whispered taking her in one hand and brushed the tears Away as Aena looked down processing all the event.
"Mahir" His Aunt said as Mahir ignored.
"Its fine" he whispered putting her down. Mahir picked a shawl from a mannequin and warped it around Aena.

"Come" he whispered as he warped his hand around her shoulder walking to the Elevator. "Take Aunt home" he said to head gaurd as head gaurd nodded. They entered the lift as Aena stepped away from Mahir she was back to senses. "T....thanks" she muffled from the shawl. Mahir looked at her and then sigh removing his hand. "Hm" he said.

The tension between them was crushing them. As the lift was about to reach down it suddenly stopped and lights flicker, Aena eyes widen in Alarm as Mahir looked down at her. Aena was already traumatised by the incidents in Elevator her hand reflexively gasped little the end of Mahir shirt.

Mahir expression softens he covered her hand with his. "Calm down, janan" he whispered as Aena looked at him. Right now she was in sense, she wasnt able to focus before he called her janan but now , when suddenly lift started and door opened revealing Lia, Mia and Soha.

They looked at her in confusion. Her holding mahir shirt, mahir covering her hand. Her wearing a shawl. Aena wanted to ask the question why he was calling her that and so much but suddenly mahir took Aena hand which was holding his shirt walked to Elevator door and gave pulled it in front of Lia, Mia and Soha .

"Take care of her" he said his tone deep and cold, lia knew something happened so she immediately took Aena hand and hugged her still looking at Mahir as Aena was looking at him too.
"What a-"
"Excuse me" Mahir cutted Mia and walked away.

"What happened?" Soha whispered trying to process as Mia waved hand infront of Aena eyes whose gaze was fixed where Mahir was.
"Hey miss your prince charming is gone" Mia said as Aena snapped back into world and realised Mia words and glared at her.

"Aena are you ok?" Soha said in concern.
Aena nodded and told them what happened as their eyes blazed.
"WHAT WHO IS THAT MAN"
"TELL ME I WILL MAKE SURE HIS GENERATION REGRETS HIS ACTION"
"HE BEGGED FOR DEATH"
"guys calm down, I guess Mahir sended him to police" Aena said.

"Mahir oh yeah Mahir oh girl he called you what? JAN?JNA?An?"Mia said when lia smacked her head.
"JANAN dummy" she said
"What ever guys, Aena are you fine? Does it hurt lets go to doctor" Soha said when Aena patted her head.

"I am fine, i was just bit traumatised." Aena said.
They all hugged her and when Lia gaze went to the shawl her eyes widen.

she muttered as Aena looked at her in confusion and soha focus went there too her eyes widened as she touched it.
"Hey! You bought it?! You had this much money? My father would have grounded me if i ever said i wanted it, its types are of USD 3000+" Soha said as Aena eyes widened.

"What!? Really!? I dont know when it got on me" Aena said about to remove it when Soha indicated to her ripped cloth from shoulder so Aena covered it back. "What now?" Mia said."hey lets go home first" soha said pulling Aena close as they walked out.

Next day Aena went to Archery hall.
Today was Archery Match. As she was placing boxes of player helping them out the couch came running. To them "uh..guys Lavaila.....Lavaila is admitted in hospital due to high fever".

Lavaila was Aena university top Archer, they didn't bought anyone in substitute as Lavaila was highly trained she was the rising player so they believed her. But with out Lavaila Aena university will be disqualified. Everyone gasped "what we do now" Haider a male archry player said.

"We dont know we need to win this match against loost its the final, we cant step back we are on challenge by Naina." Naina was from loost and right now the rising player she was way more better than Lavaila or any other player.

Loost and Aena university has Always been in competition especially in archery. Aena cant bare the thought of losing as her main reason to come here was to get GAVENDRA cup to islamabad, to her university. "We will search for player" Aena said taking the university shirt.

"Bhai come" she said as Haider followed her, they went out researching after 3 hours of searching they gave up and Aena sat down on ground, "Agh what the hell is this" aena hissed as Haider sat beside her.

"Are you gonna search more?" He said as Aena nodded he looked at her. "I have match today i have to go practice i think you should also give up we cant find any female Archer in this short time, come lets go you are also tired" Haider said giving her hand but Aena just stood he knew she wont take it so he pretended to wipe air Aena chuckled. "Ok atleast find someone to fill in, I would ask lia" Aena said cleaning her dress when she reminded lia went to give back the shawl to mall right now.

"Aghhh whats the hell is wrong with this world everything is against me" she muttered walking forward stomping foot as Haider chuckled he realised that may be lia isnt available. He was following her when something clicked in his mind.

"Aena why dont you fill in" Haider said as Aena turned to him and then burst out laughing.

"Man i dont even know how to pick arrow. " Aena said when Haider shooked his head "no no i saw you once in Arena doing shooting practice with mia i know shooting is different from Archery but you got a focus bone inside you so Aena i am sure you can fill in.....belive me, i am your senior i am experienced " he said last words dramatically. Aena thought she was about to refuse but then she nodded and started walking "oksss fine i will go practice you will teach me."

"i have match i cant teach right now " Haider said. Aena looked at him in disbelief "then how the hell i will even pick an arrow " she said as Haider laughed.

Aena rolled eyes and walked to the arena. "I guess you have to do it yourself madam" Haider said and Aena entered the Arena leaving him.

Aena match was in morning 6 AM
She practiced or atleast tried practicing. The practice room was empty as all the players were already finished with there practice and were relaxing were as Aena just started.
After 5 hours of practice she threw the bow away in frustration.

"Aghhh why the hell i even agreed" she hissed sitting down on ground like a kid crossing her legs her gaze peircing throw the target which she was trying to hit.

"Need help?" He said, a tall figure towering her, in white shirt and black pents looking down at her as she looked up.

"Mahir" she muttered as he crouched stopping inches away from her face she cant even straight her neck because he was took close she knew they might touch.

What will happen? How Aena will get out of this situation or will Aena even get out of it? Will she confront him for calling her janan?
