The kids looked up at me as I spoke, "This is the story of how I met the love of my life."
__
I woke up to loud yelling outside of my house. As I groggily walked to my bedroom window I saw some village people shouting at my abuela. When I took in the whole situation I rushed down stairs and out the door. Everyone turned and looked at me, shouting heinous words about me, to me.
I started to scream and yell at the village people until my abuela forced me inside. When the door shut, the room fell silent until she spoke, "What did I tell you about leave the house?" I slowly looked up at her to see her arms crossed and an angry look, "I know abuela but you weren't stopping them." My abuela gave me 'The Look' and I went silent and looked down at the floor, "Im sorry abuela. It won't happen again."
She let out a sigh before laying her hand on my head, "I just want to keep you safe. You know how those people are." I nodded then was sent to my room for a while. I slowly walked up the stairs of the old house, listening to it creek after every step I take.
Eventually I made it to my bedroom and flopped down onto my bed with a huff. It started to get a bit warm so I opened my window and felt the breeze. As I was about to lay back in my bed when I heard a soft melody. I looked back out my window and spotted someone my tge river bank.
I know abuela doesn't want me going out but I want to hear the music better. I tied my towels and blankets together and threw it out my window. I checked around before climbing out of the window and running for the river. The music started to get louder and louder as I ran until I spotted a boy playing a flute.
I slowly walked up to the boy and took a seat on a nearby rock. I listened to the boy play for a while until he stopped and lowered the flute. As the boy turned to my direction he yelled and fell from the rock he was sitting on, "Who are you!?"
I gave the boy a lighthearted smiled before responding, "My name is Pac! Whats your name?" The boy stared at me for a bit longer, saying, "Mine is Fit. Why were you just watching me?" I tilted my head confused as to why I would not be watching him. The boy played amazingly and oh was he beautiful with his dark brown eyes thats I could get lost in.
I guess I did get lost in them since he had to snap his fingers in my face to get my attention, "Did you hear me? Why did you come out here?" My face flushed a bit so I looked down at my hands, "I heard you play from my room and it sounded beautiful so I wanted to come listen closer."
The boy stared at me for a while longer and smiled, "I'm glad you enjoyed it. To be honest you're the only one that has listened to me play." He seemed nervous and scratched the back of his head with a goofy smile. I laughed a bit at the boy , "I would love to hear you play more. If you have time that is."
The boy looked up at the now darkening sky and frowned, "I need to be getting home but we can meet here tomorrow and I can play for you again." I nodded while the boy grabbed his flute and took off home. I slowly walked to my house and climbed back in through the window. I pulled the towels and blankets back up before shutting the window. I hid the evidence and laid in my bed, falling asleep.

~3rd POV~
The two boys would hang out everyday after that and eventually they become best friends. Some days Pac would bring food that his abuela made so that he could try it and most the time he would. After a while, Pacs abuela started to notice how tired Pac was every morning even when he slept earlier.
His abuela started to lock his window at night which meant Fit would wait until he couldn't wait any longer. Pac and his abuela started to argue and fight more over everything.
