Time to guess the kid!
@MattheoRiddle987 was the first to guess correct for the last chapter. The answer was indeed Theodore Nott (Lorenzo Zurzolo). Great job! Let's see who gets it now.
Alexia Riddle
I walked through the cemetery to her. Tom waited outside at the gates. He didn't need to be here and I am absolutely sure he didn't want to either. But since I couldn't travel alone even by a portkey, he accompanied me. Mattheo asked if I wanted him to here too but I denied. I didn't even want Tom here. I wanted to meet her alone so I asked Tom to wait outside. She was laid near her family home in Kalmar. Most of the residents of Kalmar were wizards and witches.
I placed the flowers I had brought for her at her headstone. Daisies. Her favourite.
Here lies Sabrina Erella Vasterberg.
March 1980 - January 1993
Adored daughter
Taken so soon. You shall be God's most special angel now.Sabrina was indeed an angel. She even resembled one, with her beautiful blonde hair and her mesmerizing blue eyes. But it wasn't only her looks that were angel like, no. She lit up every room she walked into. Her smile could power a thousand stars. She was a radiant ball of pure joy. You could have had the worst day but being around her would have made you grin. She was the light to my dark and with her gone, it was gruelling to have to navigate through the shadows lingering around haunting me.
"Hello old friend," I spoke softly and sat on the ground with my back to her headstone.
"It has been an year since I was last here. And a year and seven months since..." Since my father murdered you. I didn't need to say it out loud. The words hung in the air, unspoken and heavy. I still hadn't forgiven myself. I don't think I ever will.
"So, how have you been? How is everything up there? I hope you are being treated only the best. I would expect nothing short of the highest decree of service for you." I chuckled slightly.
"As for me, I have been alright. Tom and Mattheo are great too. Just this morning they got into a fight over who would get the last piece of toast. Neither won. Rodolphus came and grabbed it. He has been tolerable ever since he almost attacked me and Matt and Tom threatened him. You know how it goes, Tom always gets his way."
"Hogwarts starts in a week. I made some really great friends. You would have loved Pansy and Enzo. We all could have been great chums. There are no boys in my life as of right now," I grinned sheepishly, "I know just how much you loved to talk about Erik and me." My heart ached slightly at his mention.
"I hope your parents are fine. We haven't crossed paths since that wretched night and I don't blame them. I wouldn't want to keep in touch with us either." I paused.
"I miss you Sabrina. And I am so sorry." My eyes started to fill up with tears and a lump formed in my throat, "And I will keep apologising every day for the rest of my pathetic life. You deserved so much more. All your dreams lie here with you unfulfilled and I can't ever forgive myself." A choked sob broke free, "It is as much my fault as it is my father's. It should have been me that terrible night Sabrina, not you." I broke down completely and hugged my knees to my chest and cried. I cried my heart out. I was ugly crying. Snot was coming out of my nose and I am pretty sure my cheeks and nose were flushed red. It was all my fault. If only I had agreed to help him, she would have still been with me. If I wasn't such a stuck up brat and did what he asked of me, it would have all been okay. And Sabrina wouldn't have paid for my crimes. I was supposed to be the sacrifice not her.
