"hey im outside," crystal grabbed her bag and walked out the doctors office to ari's car. "what happened?"

"girl i passed out and somebody call the ambulance, take me to target to get my car." crystal said to her.

she was so lucky the kids were at ari and mario's house because god forbid she passed out and left them unattended in target.

"bitch that ain't something you just casually say, are you good?" ari asked eyeing her. "idk i think it's because it was hot and I've been working a lot."

"nah crystal- ho you know Ian had no dick since idk how long." ari laughed, "Ik it's a cobweb down there."

they both laughed loud before crystal stopped, "no too much, rosey come right in handy for Roxy ." Ari laughed once again.

"Not Rosie and Roxy." , "Yes boo twins." laughing as they pulled right next to crystal car in the parking lot of target.

"ima meet you at your house," crystal said as she was hopping out into her own car. "okay bet." The two both pulled off.

they met up at the house and the kids played for a while until it was time to go meet devale at Jumpzone per diarie's request.

once she got there , she spotted him infront of his car talking on the phone. she got the kids out and walked over to him.

"devale," she spoke gaining his attention, he turned around looking at her and the kids before hanging up his call.

"hey! im so happy you're here." he spoke gracefully to her, no matter the amount of time apart he'll always love crystal.

"tt mommy," cartier tugged on her jacket pointing to the door. "one second baby boy, diarie i would like to properly introduce you to someone."

"yes mommy?" diarie turned to crystal after staring at devale. "this is your dad sweetie, and he wouldn't want anything more than to be in your life."

"omg wow! really!!" her smile was so big it made devale tear up, "yes babygirl, you'll never be without me again." he knelt down to her so.s.

"can i hug you?" she asked him and once he granted her permission she leaped into his arms, "awnnn," crystal couldn't help it.

"you come here to man," he grabbed cartier and group hugged with the two of them, they laughed when devale started tickling them.

cartier squirmed away back to crystal while diarie stayed put in her dads arms. Crystal knew right then she lost her, she was officially a daddy's girl.

"so are you my dad too?" the two stopped and looking down at cartier who was holding hands with crys.

"listen son, let's go play. tt will discuss ever thing when we get home tonight okay?" he nodded now just thinking about playing.

devale and crystal gave one another looks but didn't speak on it, they walked inside the place and devale bought everyone's wristbands.

him and crystal picked a place where they could spot the kids in any direction before taking a seat. while the kids went off to play, devale started up a conversation.

"so how are we doing this? i mean like with coparenting and all." she looked at the kids before looking back at him.

"i don't wanna give you just weekends, that always seemed so unfair to me for fathers." he nodded, he didn't want that either.

"how about weeks? and on holidays we can come together seeing as you're not seeing anyone right?" he asked.

"uh no im not, that sounds like a good plan. when you think would be best to start?" , "maybe we should get them used to it first."

"we can start next month but for now i say we can just join doing things that are important to them and whenever you need me to get them or anything i can be there 100%."

crystal didn't say anything yet but she was very appreciative of how he kept saying them instead of just she.

"de... you know cartier is kj and shky's. you don't have to care for him- he's still my nephew and god son crystal, i was apart of everything too."

"i didn't mean it like that," she said in response to his stern tone. he didn't respond just as their buzzed for the food dinged.

the two looked at each other before crystal got up to get the food and devale called the kids to come eat.

"mommy where's my pretzel?" diarie asked as she sat in devales lap. "here mama, you not loving mommy today?" crystal pouted.

diarie pouted too, "no me love you mommy," she leaned across the table with her lips puckered out, crystal smiled before pecking them.

"i want kissy!" cartier whined, crystal leaned down and pecked his cheek making him smile too. she never played favorites.

devale took in everything as they all ate, smiled and laugh and he was just so ecstatic. he had something for once.

for the past couple of years he's been so alone with no reason to live. he went from having a huge career, multiple friends, and a loving girlfriend to nothing.

he struggled alone for so long, right now in this moment he was at ease. his family was here and that was all he could think about.
