As time passed, Jungkook was buttoning up his shirt, watching Taehyung through the mirror as he finished adjusting his own outfit. The excitement of spending the day at the arcade with their family buzzed in the air, making the morning feel lighter and more relaxed.

Jungkook: "You ready, honey?"

Taehyung, still fixing his collar in front of the mirror, turned slightly and smiled.

Taehyung: "Yeah, just give me a minute."

Jungkook nodded, casually walking over to the bed and sitting down, his phone in hand. He scrolled through a few messages and checked some notifications, feeling the comfort of the moment. The stress from the night before seemed to fade completely, replaced by the warmth of this simple routine with Taehyung by his side.

Taehyung glanced over at him, his eyes softening.

Taehyung: "You’re not nervous about today, are you? It’s been a while since we did something like this as a family."

Jungkook looked up from his phone, smiling.

Jungkook: "Nervous? Nah. I’m actually excited. It’s been so long since we all went out like this. Besides, I think our son is more excited than any of us."

They both laughed, knowing how much their son had been talking about the arcade all week. Taehyung finished getting ready and grabbed his jacket, walking over to Jungkook, who stood up and pulled him into a quick hug.

Jungkook: "You look amazing, by the way."

Taehyung blushed slightly, giving a playful shove.

Taehyung: "You always say that."

Jungkook: "Because it's always true."

Just then, they heard the sound of small, excited footsteps approaching, followed by their son’s voice calling out, "Appa! Daddy! Are you ready yet?"

Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged a look, grinning.

Jungkook: "Looks like the boss is ready. Let’s go before we keep him waiting."

Taehyung nodded, taking Jungkook’s hand as they headed out of the room together. They made their way to the living room, where their son was already waiting, bouncing with excitement, along with Hyori and Jungkook’s father and the others who were dressed and ready to join them for a fun family day.

As they all gathered by the door, ready to head out, the energy of love and togetherness filled the room. It was a perfect day for making memories, and Jungkook felt incredibly grateful to have this time with the people he loved

At the arcades

Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged a smile, both feeling a sense of joy seeing their son so eager to explore. Hyori and Jungkook’s father walked beside them, laughing softly at the energy around them.

Jungkook: "Alright, baby, where do you want to start?"

Without hesitation, their son pointed toward a row of racing games, and the family made their way over, ready to dive into the fun.

As they entered , Jungkook spotted the rest of their friends already immersed in the games. Yoongi, Jimin, Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok were scattered around, each engaged in different activities.

Yoongi and Jimin were fiercely competing at a shooting game, their focused expressions occasionally broken by playful banter. Namjoon was standing nearby, watching them with a grin while Jin stood at a claw machine, trying to win a plush toy for his daughter, Byeol, who was watching with wide eyes and bouncing on her toes.

Hoseok, as always, was full of energy, darting between different games, laughing loudly, and waving when he noticed Jungkook and Taehyung walking in with the rest of the family.

Hoseok: "Hey! You guys finally made it! Ready to lose some games?"

Jungkook laughed, pulling his son closer as the little boy’s excitement grew even more.

Jungkook: "Looks like we’re all here now. Let the games begin!"

With that, the whole group dove into the fun, laughter and joy filling the arcade as they enjoyed the day together.

After hours of playing and enjoying the arcade, the group gathered at a nearby restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was lively, with everyone chatting and laughing, the energy from the arcade carrying over to the meal.

The restaurant was warm and inviting, with large windows letting in the evening light. They all sat around a big table—Jungkook and Taehyung with their son, Hyori and Jungkook’s father next to them, while Yoongi, Jimin, Namjoon, Jin, his daughter Byeol, and Hoseok filled the other seats.

Plates of food were soon placed in front of them, a mix of grilled meats, noodles, and steaming bowls of soup. The scent was mouth-watering, and everyone dug in, the conversations flowing easily.

Jin, always the entertainer, cracked jokes while trying to feed Byeol, who giggled as she stole pieces of food from his plate. Yoongi and Namjoon were talking about a recent project, their voices blending with the laughter from Jimin and Hoseok, who were teasing each other about their earlier games at the arcade.

Jungkook leaned back slightly, watching everyone with a contented smile. He felt a sense of peace, surrounded by family and friends, sharing this simple but meaningful moment.

Taehyung, sitting beside him, caught his eye and smiled.

Taehyung: "You look happy."

Jungkook nodded, reaching for his hand under the table.

Jungkook: "I am. Days like this are perfect."

Taehyung squeezed his hand, both of them quietly enjoying the warmth of the moment as their son chatted excitedly about his favorite games from the day.

The evening continued with more laughter, stories, and good food, a perfect end to a day spent making memories together.
