Boy with the same shoes

Hear me as I speak while I gargle blood in my mouth and spill my gut to keep you fed.

Hear me as I scream while I drown in my own tears and my lungs collapse.

Watch me as I burn while I turn to dust as I try to keep you warm.

Watch me as I hold you while my arms are empty and it is but a shadow of you.

The boy with the same shoes looks at me with his wide giddily exuberant brown eyes, as he speaks in an innocent tongue, the once tainted can never comprehend.

The boy with the same shoes cries so loud, all I hear is silence, but the pain in his tear stained eyes seem so cumbersome my heart hummed emphatically and I feel a huge strain in my chest.

The boy with the same shoes looks at me with his wide brown eyes, as he speaks in a tongue the tainted can't reckon. His eyes void of emotions and his smile faded into oblivion.

Boy with the same shoes, as my lungs are filled with liquid, as I bled water and my skin was covered in dying flames. Dispirited I burnt out.
