Alessio's POV

I lift my unconscious sister off the ground. "Mateo, can you grab her purse over there?" I ask my brother.

With the three other guys following behind, we all head out to the SUV I have the valet bring up to the entrance of the club.

I can't believe she is here, in my arms, alive, although I am starting to second-guess that.

I gently place Lina in the middle seat of the SUV, and everyone else gets in. I jump in front of the wheel and start the engine. "Where is Leo?" Julio asks.

"He's sorting out the mess he made when he put a bullet in Lance Sornoa's chest," Mateo says from outside my window, leaning in.

"She has a car in the underground parking. I'm going to go get it and follow behind you guys. I found the keys in her purse," Mateo tells me, showing me the keys to a Ferrari and handing me her black purse.

"Okay, see you at Leo's," I say, and with that, he walks off.

"We need to leave. Now, where the hell is he?" Tristan says from beside me in the passenger seat, getting irritated.

"Calm down; he's probably on his way," I say. "Is she actually our sorella?" (sister) It sounds like Julio from behind me. He is the second youngest out of all of us.

"Yes, it is. She's grown, but she recognized me," I say, with a tone of happiness in my voice.

The back car door opens, and someone gets in, very aggressively, right next to Lina's unconscious body.

"Drive now! He has men in the area. They're on their way!" Leo yells. I don't move the car; I turn back to him, waiting for an explanation.

Drug lords are not the ones to mess with, especially our suppliers.

"He fucking deserved to die, he is three months behind on supply deliveries and payments! Then he has the nerve to show up to our fucking club, and not to mention, grope your fucking sister with his hand halfway up her dress!" Tristan, Leo's brother, says furiously; he is quite short-tempered.

"Just drive, Alessio! Please! Are you trying to get us all killed?" Leo yells, his deep voice booming through the confined space of the car.

By now, the club has cleared out. I hit the gas and headed for his place.

As I speed through the night, the gravity of the situation sinks in. My sister is alive, and I am taking her home.

I look to my right to see Mateo next to our car in a Ferrari SF90; after smirking at Julio and me, he speeds off.

Angelina's POV

I wake up, nestled against the most comfortable pillow ever.

Wait, why am I snuggling a pillow? My head is pounding when I open my eyes.

I look around to figure out where the hell I am and what is so comfortable.

Oh my God, I'm in a car. Shit, I am sleeping on that hot guy's shoulder from earlier.

I move my head straight up off his shoulder, and all he does is glance at me and then back at his awfully bright phone screen.

I would have given him an apology for leaning on him, but my confidence goes straight out the window when he slightly moves away from me and clears his throat. I do the same and speak up.

"Alessio?" I call out, seeing that he is in the driver's seat. My brother is no longer a 17-year-old boy; he is now a grown-ass man. His wide shoulders take up a lot of the space in the front, just like everyone else in this car. His semi-hair is long, and he has a thick layer of stubble on his face.

"Lina, you're awake, " he exclaims

"How long have we been driving?" I ask. "About forty minutes. Are you okay? Julio tried to cover up your wound as best he could until we got home." I look to my right to see Julio; he has a big build and his head is buzzed, nothing like I remember from when we were younger.

"Julio?" I say in utter shock. "The one and only," he says with a big smile.

I actually can't believe it; I am with my family after all these years. It all makes sense; they are the ones in the room at the club.

"Where's Matteo?" I ask. "He's going to meet us at Leo's; he drove your car back," I hear the unknown man say from the passenger seat.

"I can't believe it," I say under my breath. "I'm sorry if I sound rude, but who are you?" I ask the man in front.

"Oh, me? I'm Tristan, Leo's brother," he introduces himself. He has dark brown hair and looks quite built, but I can't see much from my angle.

"Lina," I say back. "Leo's on your left; I'm sure you've heard of him," Alessio says.

"No, not really, who is he?" I ask curiously. He is so intimidating I can't even look him in the eye.

"He is Leonardo Rossi, the leader of the Cosa Nostra and the Mafia king," I hear his deep voice for the first time. His thick Italian accent is enough to make me cross my legs and sit up straight.

"Oh," is all I can say. I look at him to see that he hasn't even looked up from his phone.

I see him in a chat with someone named Adriana. My head starts to pound even more from looking at his bright screen, but before I can stare further, Alessio speaks up.

"We have so many questions to ask, but you might have a concussion, so we need to get you looked at."

"Yeah, sure, how much longer?" I ask. "We're here," he says, pulling into a really long driveway. It is surrounded by two straight rows of tall trees on either side of the stone gravel road.

Once we reach the opposite end of the driveway, I notice the biggest mansion I have ever laid my eyes on, and then I see that my car is parked neatly in one of the spaces in the massive garage surrounded by many more expensive-looking ones.

Leo gets out as soon as the car stops, heading up the small case of stairs inside the large double doors.

Julio helps me out, and Matteo walks briskly toward us.

He pulls me into a bone-crushing hug, and I can't help but let out a little laugh, ignoring the pain coming from my arm.

"Let go of her; she needs to go to the med room to get that bullet removed from her arm," Julio says.

"Oh yeah, sorry," I just smile, and the four men lead me inside.
