been a month since Naruto asked Ereshkigal to be his girlfriend. When they came back from the underworld, everyone was happy for them, especially their mother who kept crying saying "My little one is all grown up" which made Ereshkigal panic because she thought she had done something wrong. For Naruto, it was the cutest thing in the world, but not everything was going well, as his mother decided to go see his birthplace and found out that a group called Akatsuki was looking for the Jinchuuriki, so she decided to go back to save her ex-sister.
Ninsun: Do you have everything Naruto? - Ninsun asked her son worried as she didn't like where she was going.
Naruto: Yes, I do. Mother, please don't worry. I'll just go save my sister from that group and then I'll go back home - Naruto said trying to assure her that she would be safe.
Ninsun: Just be careful not to let those demons get close to you - Ninsun said making Naruto nod as he knew who she was talking about.
Naruto: Well I'm off, if you or Ereshkigal need me you know where to find me - he said as he faded into golden particles meaning he was gone.
In the Elemental Nations
Naruko wasn't having a good time, she had just completed her sage training with the toads with her brother Natsu, however they heard from a messenger toad that the leaf village was under attack so both she and Natsu were summoned back only to find a massive pit where the leaf village was. Angered by the attack Natsu rushed off to confront the person who attacked them and left her behind. When she finally arrived at the battlefield she found Natsu impaled on the ground by black rods leaving her alone to face 6 Akatsuki members. He was able to defeat 5 of them using Sage Mode, however the last one tried to kill his family and he lost control and started transforming into the Kyuubi.
The Kyuubi's transformation was in its eighth tail, almost freeing the Kyuubi from the seal it was trapped in, however he was too busy trying to get out of the planetoid the last member summoned to notice someone else entering the fight.
???: I see you've almost freed the Kyuubi Naruko - said the voice when suddenly multiple chains surrounded the beast and held it in place.
???: Who are you? Are you an Uzumaki? Only that clan has those kinds of chains - said the last member to the man in front of him.

Naruto: I'm Naruto from Uruk - the man introduced himself.
Pain: I see, my name is Pain and I'm the god of this world - the Akatsuki named Pain introduced himself.
Pain: You will hand me the jinchuuriki - said Pain making Naruto smile.
Naruto: I can't do that, you see. My life's mission has been to protect this girl from all harm and I may have done a bad job in the past, but I'm willing to correct that mistake - said Naruto as multiple golden waves appeared behind him with the sword pointed.
