Rika's breath hitched the moment she saw Taehyung. Her heart raced as memories flashed through her mind-she recognized him instantly. He was the same man she had seen on that fateful night, the one involved in a cold-blooded killing, someone whose mere presence sent a shiver down her spine.
Taehyung's eyes flickered towards her, despite his commanding presence, found himself momentarily lost as his gaze lingered on Rika's eyes. Those innocent, wide orbs struck something deep within him, pulling him into a trance he hadn't expected. But before she could react, his expression shifted, and the moment of recognition passed.
Taehyung quickly regained his composure, his expression hardening as he turned his gaze away from Rika and fixed it coldly on the director. His eyes, now devoid of any warmth, radiated authority and menace. The director visibly stiffened under the weight of Taehyung's glare, knowing full well the power and influence the man wielded. His voice, deep and commanding, filled the room as he addressed Jungkook.
Taehyung: What happened, Jungkook? He asked, his tone both casual and intimidating.
Taehyung: What could have possibly made you call me? You know that with just one word, you could change the entire university's rules.
Taehyung's voice suddenly rose, cutting through the tension in the room like a knife.
Taehyung: What was the need for Jungkook to call me, Mr. Choi?
He demanded, his tone sharp and authoritative. The director, Mr. Choi, flinched slightly under Taehyung's intense gaze. The director, Mr. Choi, nervously cleared his throat before speaking, knowing he had to choose his words carefully.
Mr. Choi: Mr. Kim, there was an incident involving Jungkook earlier today in the cafeteria. He caused a disturbance, and during the chaos, a female student was injured. It escalated quickly, and I felt it necessary to address it immediately.
He hesitated for a moment, then continued.
Mr. Choi: I also had a conversation with Mr. Kim Yeon your father. He made it clear that Jungkook should be punished according to the university's rules, and that no special treatment would be given.
Taehyung's gaze shifted toward Jungkook, his expression hardening. Despite the tension in the room, his confidence and composed demeanor remained unshaken. After a brief pause, he turned back to the director, his voice calm but authoritative.
Taehyung: If the problem revolves around three students, why is only one student's guardian being called?
He questioned, his voice low but firm. I order you to call the parents of the other two students as well. The director swallowed hard, realizing the weight of Taehyung's words.
Mr. Choi: Of course, Mr. Kim. I'll reach out to the other parents immediately. It's only fair.
He replied, eager to comply with the unspoken authority that Taehyung wielded. The director eyed Hanbin and Rika before addressing them sternly.
