"It's another boring day. Today, we are going to finalize everything about the Dancers, and I haven't even met them yet. I've been having bad nightmares lately, and I haven't told my mom yet. If I tell her right now, she'll tell me not to participate in the gala. She's always into all this superstitious stuff" Rosette said to Chloe as they were heading to the restaurant.

"I didn't know you've been having nightmares, what are they about"

"I'll tell you the details later, right now we have a gala to prepare, look!"

As Chloe and Rosette walked into the restaurant, they were both momentarily stunned. The place had been completely transformed for the gala, with shimmering golden drapes hanging from the ceiling, and elegant crystal chandeliers casting a soft glow over the room. Every table was adorned with exquisite floral arrangements, and the entire space exuded an atmosphere of luxury and grandeur.

"Whoa... I hardly recognize this place," Rosette said, her eyes wide as she took in the scene. "It looks like something straight out of a movie."

"Right?" Chloe agreed, nudging her friend. "They really went all out. Look at those centerpieces! I don't even know what kind of flowers those are, but they're definitely not the kind you buy at the corner store."

Rosette laughed softly, nodding. "This is way too fancy. I feel like we should be wearing crowns or something just to step inside."

Chloe grinned and flicked a playful glance at her. "Well, we do have our gowns. We're practically royalty tonight, babe. Now, where's my prince charming?" She dramatically scanned the room, making Rosette chuckle.

"Just don't get carried away," Rosette teased. "We're still here to work, remember?"

Chloe waved a dismissive hand. "Work, schmirk! We deserve to enjoy this. I mean, how often do you get to be part of something like this? It's basically a once-in-a-lifetime moment."

As they wandered through the transformed restaurant, Chloe spotted Mia striding by in her usual confident manner, her clipboard tucked under one arm and her phone glued to the other ear. Chloe and Rosette exchanged a look and darted towards her.

"Mia! Hold up!" Chloe called out, practically skidding to a stop in front of her. Rosette was only a step behind, slightly out of breath.

Mia ended her call with a flourish and raised an eyebrow at them. "Ladies, what's the emergency?"

"The dancers, Mia!" Chloe said dramatically, throwing her hands in the air. "We've been trying to get the details from you for days now. Are we actually getting professionals, or are you secretly planning to make us dance? Because I've seen Rosette's TikTok moves, and I'm not sure the world is ready for that."

Rosette shot Chloe a mock glare and nudged her with her elbow. "Very funny," she muttered before turning to Mia. "Seriously though, we just need to know. You've been keeping everything hush-hush, and it's making me anxious."

Mia rolled her eyes playfully and gave them both a reassuring grin. "Relax, you two. The dancers are booked, the choreography is flawless, and the routine will blow everyone's minds. Just sit back and watch the magic happen."

Chloe crossed her arms, unconvinced. "You're sure you don't need us to, you know, step in and save the day with our mad dance skills?"

Mia snorted. "Please, Chloe. The last time I saw you dance, you knocked over two chairs and a waiter. Trust me, I'm doing the world a favor by keeping you off the dance floor."
