No. 9 fanfic

One

Shions POV:

After I turned around from Rat walking away to the baby, I looked at the little guy wondering how I would raise this kid without him. Kneeling down I picked up the baby in my arms rocking him back and forth. That's when I felt his arms wrap around me and I felt his tear drops falling from his face to the side of my neck.

"I can't leave you Shion," he said softly in between his sobs, "I can't leave you because I love you Shion, please don't leave me."

"Rat," I set the baby down next to the dog and turned around, looking at Rat and embraced him, "I would never leave you, because, I love you too Rat. I wouldn't know what to do without you. I want to have a family and grow old with you until the time has come where I die along your side, together."

"Oh Shion," Rat looked at me, and put his hands on my cheek softly caressing it, "I've always wanted to hear those words from your mouth."

Rat started getting closer to my lips. He gently brushed his against my lips, still looking in my eyes.

"Lets go start a family together Shion. We'll raise this baby together, in our new home."

Rats POV:

Shion grabbed the baby, and we started walking back to my home, our home. I didn't know what we were going to do with the walls of No. 6 broke down. We'd would have to help start a new community. A new currency, a new goverment, and new laws. I'm sure everyone left from the west side can show people how the outside world works. Maybe even the people from No. 6 could teach us a few things they've learned.

I rested my arm around his shoulder as we walked back home.

"You know," I said lightly, "There's going to be a lot of things that are going to change. I just hope that you'll be able to meet up with your mother."

"I'm sure I will," Shion giggled, "She knows when I'm around, she's like a robot who can sniff out where I'm at."

When we got home we made a temporary bed out of a box for the baby and set him down in it covering the baby up since it was chilly inside. I sat on the bed watching as Shion was making supper.

"It smells so good," I said leaning back on the bed.

"Well you better eat it because that's all we have, since the grocery shops are ruined." He pointed the spoon at me trying to act cute. "I slave over you all day making food for you when you come home."

I grabbed his wrist and pulled him on top of me. "Well maybe I should give you my gratitude." Sweeping his hair out of his eyes I kissed him passionately and he kissed back. Rolling over so I'm on top I pinned his arms down, getting close to his face. "You know, I've been waiting for this, I've always had to keep myself back."

Shion wrapped around me and I got lost in his kisses. That's when our new life started and I never wanted it to end.
