Episode 15
After Two Years After the Accident
Taehyung: "Dad, I’m not going to the office today."
Mr. Jeon, Jungkook’s father, knew why. He had seen the exhaustion on Taehyung’s face many times before. He had been holding everything together for two years now, balancing work, taking care of their son, Jea-sung, and waiting for Jungkook to wake up.
Mr Jeon:" I understand, son. Go to Jungkook. I’ll take care of Jea-sung.”
Taehyung nodded. He didn’t need to explain anything. His father understood without asking.

At the Hospital
Taehyung stepped into the hospital room where Jungkook lay. The room was quiet except for the soft beeping of the machines keeping Jungkook alive. The sight of his husband, still in a coma after all this time, never got easier. Each visit hurt as much as the last.
Taehyung placed a fresh bouquet on the table beside Jungkook’s bed, just as he had done many times before. He leaned over and kissed Jungkook’s forehead gently. His lips lingered for a moment, hoping, as always, that somehow his kiss could wake him up.
Taehyung: "Love, I’m here. I’m sorry I’m late."
He sat down next to Jungkook’s bed and took his hand, gently intertwining their fingers. His heart ached because he knew Jungkook couldn’t squeeze his hand back like he used to.
Taehyung: "I decided not to go to the office today. I wanted to spend the day with you."
He paused, pulling out a small photo from his pocket. It was a picture of Jea-sung, their son, laughing and playing. Taehyung smiled softly, though his eyes were filled with sadness.
Taehyung: "I have something to tell you. Jea-sung said ‘Appa’ for the first time today. Dad and I were so happy. I wish you could’ve been there to hear it. You would’ve been so proud of him."
Taehyung stared at Jungkook, waiting for some kind of sign that he could hear him, but nothing happened. The machines continued to beep, and Jungkook remained still.
Taehyung: "It’s been two years, Jungkook... Two long years since the accident. You always said you wanted to see me independent, and I’m trying. I’m running the office, taking care of Jea-sung, and looking after Dad. But... it’s hard. I need you."
A tear slipped down Taehyung’s cheek as he held Jungkook’s hand tighter. He had learned to stay strong for his son, but the pain of missing Jungkook never went away.
Taehyung: "You know who did this to us... 'Bogum'. He was so jealous and angry about things that weren’t even true. He wanted revenge, and we got caught in the middle of it."
He looked down, feeling bitterness rise in his chest.
Taehyung: "He’s paying for it now. I made sure he got what he deserved. But none of that matters if you don’t wake up. Please, Jungkook, I miss you so much."
Taehyung’s voice cracked.
Taehyung: "Please wake up. Jea-sung needs you. I need you. I can’t do this without you. I’m trying so hard, but it’s getting harder every day."
His sobs filled the room, mixing with the sound of the machines. He stayed like that for a long time, crying quietly, holding on to Jungkook’s hand as if it were the only thing keeping him from falling apart completely.
Taehyung: "I’m losing hope, but I can’t give up. Not yet. Please, just wake up."
He stayed there, not wanting to leave, hoping for a miracle. Even after two years, Taehyung wasn’t ready to let go. He rested his head on Jungkook’s hand, feeling the weight of the past two years pressing down on him.
