Soon enough, the dishes arrived. The dishes varied from East Asian to South Asian. I took the bowl of Pho Thin, a known Vietnamese dish. I blew on the spoon before taking a bite. I let out a hum of delight, the spices melting on my tongue and engulfing me in foodie bliss.

Xavier chuckled at my delight and took a plate of mixed rice with vegetables. We enjoyed our food and tried the various dishes. Once we were done, Xavier looked toward the kitchen, where waiters and staff came in and out. Today was a more peaceful day as there weren't many people in the luxury restaurant, so the staff were relaxed.

"Y/n dear, how about we go give a visit to the chef, I believe he would be more than happy to meet you."

Xavier said while smiling at me. I was intrigued by the thought of going to meet the chef, but also a bit sheepish about it. But I pushed those feelings aside and nodded. Xavier led me to the kitchen, the staff making way for us to move through the busy kitchen.

We approached a dark brown-haired man who had his back to us. He had a tall and muscular build, his back muscles flexing in his tight white chef uniform.

"Rajhi, how have you been?"
Xavier's strong voice caught the attention of the man. He turned around revealing a very handsome brown man, his eyes were dark but striking, he had a refined jaw and a stubble which gave him a mature yet attractive look. The man, Rajhi smiled upon seeing Xavier. He clasped his hands together as he approached us.

"Ahh, Xavier. Long time no see, what brings you here?"

The man's voice was deep with a little raspiness, it held a slight South-Asian accent.

Xavier chuckled as he patted my shoulder.

"This is my sister, Y/n. Her father married my mother so she's part of the family now."

The dark-haired man's brows raised in a pleasant surprise. He extended his hand to me which I immediately accepted.

"Ah, what wonderful information, I'm Rajhi. Me and your brother are old friends. We met at a business party in Dubai where I was the head chef. He took a liking to my food and came to me. And from there on we became good friends."

He said while shaking my hand. His grip was firm but gentle. I smile back at him, intrigued by their way of meeting.

"So, how did you enjoy your food?" He said while retracting his hand and then clasping them together.
