Brooklyn groaned as her annoying alarm clock woke her up. She had to wake up extra early today because her friend, Aubrey, was taking her to a hockey game later that day. Brooklyn sat up straight as she fixed her hair before standing up. Aubrey somehow scored them 2 tickets since her boyfriend, Mason mctavish, was on the team. Brooklyn had picked out an outfit last night so she quickly threw it on, making sure it looked good.

Once Brooklyn was done changing she went downstairs to make herself some breakfast. She poured herself some cereal before quickly eating it, making sure to not spill anything on her clothes. Then she grabbed her hair straightener and plugged it in. Her hair wasn't curly but it had a natural wave so she liked straightening her hair. Once the hair straightener heated up she straightened her hair and went back upstairs to her room to do her makeup.
Brooklyn usually only did concealer and mascara but today she did foundation, concealer, highlighter, mascara, and she curled her eyelashes.
"Damn I look actually good for once." Brooklyn mumbled to herself. Brooklyn decided to take a photo for instagram since she thought she looked decent.

Once Brooklyn was done taking photos she grabbed her car keys to go drive over to Aubrey's.

Brooklyn walked out of the house and got in her car, driving to Aubrey's. Once she got there she saw Aubrey sitting on her porch. "AUBREY!" Brooklyn screeched as she jumped out of the car and ran to hug Aubrey. "I missed you!" Aubrey said. "Excited to see your boyfriend?" Brooklyn teased as the 2 got in Aubrey's car. "Well of course. You know we might even find you a hockey guy to date." Aubrey said, starting up the car. "Doubt it. Their all cocky bitches." Brooklyn said with all honestly. "So the car ride is about an hour so by the time we get there it should be around 7 and the game starts at 7:45" Aubrey explained. "Got it." Brooklyn said.
"So no Starbucks." Aubrey said, making Brooklyn whine. "I hate you." Brooklyn mumbled before putting her AirPods in, blasting some random Taylor swift song. the 2 got to the arena at around 7:10
"Holy we're gonna get lost." Brooklyn said as she put her AirPods back in the case. "No we won't just don't go wandering off with your adhd ass." Aubrey said, making Brooklyn laugh as they got out of the car. "Do you know anyone else on the team other then mason?" Brooklyn asked. "Nah not really this might be the first time I meet them actually." Aubrey responded as they walked inside, getting their tickets out as they got in line. "Jeez it's cold." Brooklyn said, getting some "no really." Looks from strangers.
After about 5 minutes they finally got in and walked around for a bit, trying to find a good place to stand. "Right here's good." Brooklyn said as Aubrey agreed, standing next to her. The 2 went on their phones as they waited for the game to start, once the players came onto the ice they both put their phones away. "Remind me why I had to come since I don't even like hockey." Brooklyn asked. "Because I'm finding you a boyfriend. Also because autumns out of town and Elena hates mason." Aubrey explained. "I'm fine being single!" Brooklyn retorted. "Girl no you need to get banged." Aubrey said.
The rather loud music came on, making Brooklyn flinch slightly. "You gonna try and talk to mason when the teams in the locker room?" Brooklyn asked. "Nah waiting till the games over." Aubrey answered, watching the game. Brooklyn was bored for the most part, not really liking hockey so she was mainly on her phone. "Girl you need to get off your phone!" Aubrey said, swatting Brooklyn's phone out of her hand. One of the players on the Anaheim ducks scored, making some people cheer. "God people take hockey way to seriously." Brooklyn said. "At least their winning." Aubrey mumbled. "3-0 damn. Your boyfriends team ain't that bad." Brooklyn said.
After about 1 hour and a half the game ended. "brookie imma go see mason so you can go wait in the lobby." Aubrey said, making Brooklyn groan as Aubrey walked away. Brooklyn pulled her phone out of her pocket as she walked to the lobby. Brooklyn had no clue how long Aubrey would take so she sat down on the floor, scrolling on TikTok. "Ugh this is so annoying." Brooklyn groaned as the arena rather quickly emptied which Brooklyn thought was weird.
As Brooklyn scrolled on TikTok she saw someone come up to her "What?" Brooklyn said, putting her phone down and looking up at the person, realizing it was one of the players. "Oh uh hi sorry just I was wondering if I could get your number?" The guy asks. "Aren't you one of the player?" Brooklyn asked. "Oh uh yeah I'm Trevor, Trevor zegras." The guy known as Trevor said. "Oh. I'm Brooklyn." Brooklyn introduced as she stood up, realizing Trevor was taller then her. "Here gimme your phone." Brooklyn said, Trevor handing her his phone. Brooklyn put her number in and texted herself to make sure it worked.
"How come you haven't left yet?" Trevor asked. "My friends uh dating someone on the team and she went to visit him and congratulate him on the win." Brooklyn answered. "Who?" Trevor asked yet again. "mason mctavish." Brooklyn responded. "Ohh he's nice." Trevor said. "Anyways I see my friend so I'll text you k?" Brooklyn answered as she walked away. "Oo who were you talking to??" Aubrey asked. "Just this guy." Brooklyn answered as Aubrey and her walked back to the car.
Brooklyn was for sure texting him later.
