Third pov:

Naruto's eyes shoot open as he gasps in panic and he starts having the start of a panic attack. After a few deep breaths, Naruto calmed himself looking around with a haze clouding his vision. Confusion enveloped him as he took in the unfamiliar surroundings. The scent of damp earth and the rustle of leaves filled his senses. He blinked, the memories of the battle with Kaguya slowly surfacing. Faces of his fallen friends flashed before his eyes: Sasuke, Sakura, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Anko, Hinata, and his entire village dead. The weight of their sacrifices and deaths pressed down on him like an anchor pulling him deeper into despair. As realization dawned, a cold emptiness gnawed at his heart. He was alone. The world he fought to protect now lay in ruins, the debris of battle scattered around him. The screams of his loved ones echoed in his mind, a haunting reminder of his failure to save them.

Naruto-*staggered to his feet and muttered to himself with determination flickering amidst the grief* "I need to find... survivors. *Drawing in a deep breath, he focused his chakra, summoning a swarm of shadow clones.* Go! Search the area. See if anyone else is alive!"

The clones scattered, each one carrying a piece of Naruto's hope, their presence a flicker of light in his darkened world. Days turned into weeks as Naruto roamed the desolate landscape, each day marked by the chilling confirmation that he was indeed the last of his kind. Three weeks passed in a blur of shadows and echoes, and finally, he faced the truth: he was utterly alone. With a heavy heart, he began the solemn task of burying his friends. Each grave was marked with a stone, each name was engraved with love and loss. Tsunade's fierce spirit, Jiraiya's warmth, Kakashi's wisdom, Anko's laughter—they deserved a proper farewell. As he stood before the last grave, he whispered a promise, vowing to honor their memories. Days later, while lost in his thoughts, Kurama's voice broke through the fog of his despair.

Kurama-*speaks in Naruto's head* "Naruto, listen closely. There's an ancient scroll I've heard of... a way to teleport to another dimension."

Naruto- *at the mention of a possible escape hope flickers within him* "A new dimension? One where I can start over?"

Kurama- *continued speaking in his head* "Yes, but we need to gather everything we can. This world... it has nothing left for us."

Naruto-*exclaimed, determination filling his voice.* "Then let's do it!"

Together, they devised a plan. He would scavenge the remnants of his life, taking with him everything that mattered scrolls, memories, weapons, and treasures he could find. As he rummaged through the rubble, he came across the ancient scroll Kurama had mentioned, tucked away in a hidden nook. Standing atop his father's stone face, Naruto gazed out at the world one last time.

Naruto-*stood with tears slipping down his cheeks as he whispered*"Goodbye."

Feeling the weight of his losses settle around him like a kunai to the heart. With the scroll clutched tightly in his hands, he activated it with Kurama's help. A swirling portal materialized, shimmering with energy and promise. The moment he stepped through, the ground beneath him vanished. He stumbled, falling into the unknown. When he landed, it was with a thud in a thick forest, the vibrant green contrasting sharply with the ashen world he left behind. As he tried to collect his thoughts, he noticed the portal closing behind him, sealing off his old life. Hours passed, and he lay on the forest floor, drained from the exertion of his journey. When he finally stirred, twilight had fallen, casting an eerie glow around him.

Naruto-"We made it Kurama. It worked. *Naruto gets no reply he waits for anxious* Kurama? you there?"

Naruto called out, but only silence answered him. Panic surged within him as he lifted his shirt and channeled some chakra, but sensed an emptiness where Kurama's presence should be. The seal was gone. Naruto's heart sank. He was truly alone. The thought of his friend and partner missing left him hollow.

Naruto-*whispered, tears streaming down his face* "Thank you, Kurama, I hope you find your way back to me someday soon until then I'll be waiting, partner. *shaking his head Naruto steels himself, he pushes through the despair.* I can't give up. I'll find a way. *gathering his resolve, he channeled the chakra once more and created five shadow clones.* Stay hidden and scout the area. I need to learn about this new place."

As the clones dispersed into the shadows of the trees, Naruto began to familiarize himself with his surroundings. He learned that he was in a city called Tokyo. The architecture was unlike anything he had ever seen, towering structures reaching toward the sky, the streets bustling with people, vehicles, and noises that felt foreign yet strangely captivating. With each clone exploring different paths, they reported back details about the lay of the land—busy streets, towering buildings, and a vibrant atmosphere. When the clones were dispelled, Naruto found himself alone in the now-dark forest. The weight of the information settled around him, mingling with the lingering emptiness of loss. Deciding to set up camp where he was, he gathered some branches and leaves, making a small shelter. As he lay down, staring up at the canopy of leaves, a deep sense of determination welled within him.

Naruto-*whispered into the night.* "It won't be easy, I don't know how I will turn out, but I promise, no matter what, I will do my best to survive so your sacrifices are not in vain."

With that vow echoing in his heart, he closed his eyes, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in this strange new world.
