"I'm telling you, a lot of places we'll go to are going to be about at this level. Not that interesting." I tell Will as we walk around in Montreal, Canada.

We're going to a park later that has...really cool stuff. The Montreal Botanical Garden, it seems like it will be neat based on the pictures we saw. First; this. Walking around aimlessly, getting to know the whole city.

Each country or general place we go to will have one or two interesting things, and the rest will all be the same. As long as we save the cool stuff for later in the day, it hasn't seemed to matter.

"Are you kidding? This is really interesting." Will tells me.

"It's just a city no different from New York." I shake my head.

I want to hold his hand, but he's making me use these forearm crutches. It's fine for now, but I'm sure I'll get more and more frustrated once we're somewhere more...romantic.

"It's so much prettier than New York." He says, stopping in front of a building and taking a picture of it.

"Dude. Is not."

"Is too. It's cleaner." He decides, looking around the city, "Or maybe it's just because we're in a tourist area."

None of that matters. Tourist areas aren't cleaner than other places anyway. This is just new.

"You're just biased." I tell him.

"What~ why would I be biased?" He asks, snapping a picture of me. I hate it when he does that.

"Everyone finds their own home less beautiful than other places."

"Really? I guess that makes sense. You sort of get used to the place you live. I've lived in New York for long enough to call it home at this point."

"Exactly, so it's complicated." I say.

"Hmm~ it still feels cooler." He decides.

"That doesn't mean it's actually cooler! This place is just fine."

"I like it! Don't get me wrong, it's not like Japan and I want to move here, but... I think this is awesome. I'm glad we have the opportunity to do this together~"

He better not get sappy about this. It's literally just a city in Canada.

"I'll take you wherever you want to go, always." I promise him.

I take my arms out of the crutches and let them drop to the ground.

Will watches me blankly for a moment, before leaning over and picking them up. "Are you done with these, then?"

"Accident." I claim, holding a hand out to him for him to hold. I'd rather hold him than those; He makes me use those so I don't collapse on my own, so I have independence.

He smiles and starts glowing faintly, tucking the crutches under his arm and taking my hand. They're awkward and clunky when held that way, not that things are much different when they're used properly. "Was it? It looked pretty purposeful to me."

"No, my hands glitched and I realized it's safer to hold your hand. Totally."

"Right, right. I think that makes sense. In case they glitch again, right?" He smiles, gently squeezing my hand.

"Yeah, I don't want anything to happen. Do you?"

"Definitely not. I think we need to keep this hand-holding going. We don't want a safety issue."
